"Actually, itâs a perfectly fine hotel if youâre a family with children and donât have particularly high expectations - or a strong attachment to peace and quiet. The rooms are a decent size, but they havenât seen an update in about ten years. The food is acceptable, and while allergen information is clearly labeled, breakfast can be challenging if youâre gluten intolerant.
The gym is long past its prime, with several machines bravely hanging on. To be fair, theyâre still in better shape than the mini golf course, which looks like it lost the will to live some time ago. The pools are great fun for younger kids - but then again, this is very much a childrenâs hotel. If youâre traveling with teenagers/adults, you may want to keep scrolling.
Itâs also a bit too far from the city, and once youâve played some tennis and football, the entertainment options thin out quickly. The restaurant is impressively noisy. They try to hide it by playing music, but you still canât hear what your own family is saying - which, depending on the day, might actually be the hotelâs best feature.
And donât come here for the food. Itâs fine. Just⊠fine. Sorry."
