The villa, nestled in a gated community, stunned with its gorgeous architecture and luxurious en-suites, though it had issues like cockroaches and poor nighttime lighting. The real problems began with the host. Promised birthday decorations weren't set up upon arrival, and despite confirming no extra charge for a sixth guest, the host demanded more money last minute. Our stay was marred by repeated theft from our rooms, and the host's response to our concerns was dismissive, blaming us for not using safes. Now I don’t know about you, but I was at LEAST expecting the host to be Somewhat apologetic about SOMETHING. Instead, he stated that he was on holiday and he (the HOST), can’t be expected to respond to GUEST messages during that time. He also noted that if we suspected that the staff was Stealing from us during our stay, we should have told that same staff to stop stealing from us! He also stated that if we left a bad review, he would be “forced to take action against us.” I was SHOCKED. Shocked! In the 25 years that I have been traveling, staying in hotels, A3bnbs, rental homes, etc, Never have I Ever been treated in such a manner. Imagine telling us that we should have told suspected thieves to stop thieving -- And that we never should have expected that our things would be secure during our stay. Oh, and the HOST can’t be bothered to reply to his paying GUESTS if he’s otherwise occupied. The lack of accountability was appalling, overshadowing the villa's beauty.
