Fritidshus i Mars Hill

“The place was cute and exactly as described. When we arrived, it was horribly musty smelling. We had to open all the doors and windows and turn on the fans. There were gnats in the kitchen area and the bathroom, dust bunnies in multiple places, and a missing smoke detector. The yard had not been mowed recently and was unpleasant to walk through to the creek. There was a fire pit with yard chairs stacked on top. No firewood in sight. At the total price of $241 for one night, we were disappointed.”

“We loved our stay in such a unique cottage. We are so hopeful to get back soon. Our experience couldn’t have been better.”

“We stayed here when dropping our child off for camp. The home was cozy and much better than simply staying at a hotel. The host was communicative and kind. Loved our stay!”

“Quaint and cozy cottage. Great for our long weekend stay. Thanks again!”

“Great place to stay and set up to bring dogs with also. 2 bedrooms with 2 baths attached to bedrooms. Kitchen set up to be able to cook in easily though cottage close to town of Black Mountain that has great restaurants. Cottage also has washer and dryer which was helpful. Also has hot tub which we used one evening. Fenced in yard for dogs. Very comfortable up to house up to 4 people.”

“Excellent!!”

“Great property and hosts!! It was so cozy and the hosts made it so easy to navigate (easy how to videos for things like the firepit and hot tub)…would definitely recommend!!”

“This beautiful cottage is so perfectly located and beautifully appointed! Could not have been easier or better. Black Mountain, Montreat, Asheville -- you will see it all and stay in a convenient and super cute little house. Everything is new and nice and you'll love it!”

“The Country Girl Cottage is a peaceful hideaway behind the owner's home, nestled in beautiful, well-tended gardens. The front porch on the cottage is peaceful and wonderful for taking in the view of the gardens, reading, enjoying your morning coffee or your evening wine. The cottage itself is well-equipped and quaintly decorated with antique pieces and also a comfortable sofa for relaxing. The kitchen is small, but perfectly equipped for a weekend stay. We have now stayed at The Country Girl 4...

“I absolutely loved this serene place. It reminded me a lot of my grandparents’ home when I was growing up. It was the perfect getaway for parents who needed a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. While some people found it too isolated, that’s precisely what we were seeking. ”
