“Everything was great”

“Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was spacious and clean. Kitchen had some pantry essentials and everything needed to cook some nights. The grocery store is 3-5 minutes away. The drive toAcadia took us an hour and ten minutes to an hour and a half due to traffic getting on the island. It was nice to come back to the quiet house each evening. Would highly recommend.”

“PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Excellent lakefront property. Hoise is well loved and cared for. Very clean. Plenty of outdoor area to run around. The penisula is a great spot for morning sunrises and catching some photos of loons. Many kayaks to enjoy time on the lake, laumch right fromt the beach. Plenty of indoor activities as well. The owners thought of everything when preparing the home for vacationers. There was not one time cooking that we didnt have what we needed. Kitchen is well stocked...

“This was such an amazing stay, I highly recommend it. Check in was very easy and straight forward. The bathroom was right next to the shed and was very clean inside. We had a bit of a problem with the power, but they fixed it within 5 minutes of me texting them. We had a tour of the farm which was the highlight of my Maine trip. “My husband and I recently stayed at this cottage and it was perfect. First the location, it is amazing. It is quiet, relaxing and a perfect spot to sit and watch the ocean. We enjoyed watching the lobster fisherman go out and come back in everyday. We then would go to Looks Lobster and pick up fresh lobsters from the dock and paid dock prices. My husband and I made them at the cottage, as James, the owner, had everything right there…..he had the pot and the claw crackers. There is nothing...

“The house was exactly as shown and is gigantic. There were just two of us but it would be perfect for a party of 10 or more. The deck was lovely to sit out on in the morning and evening as it had a serene lake view. The home had everything you could want from pots and pans, kayaks, games and a lovely welcome gift. It's a close drive to a few restaurants and shops which we frequented each evening.We would absolutely stay here again and the hosts were a delight, too.”

The furniture was very comfortable and the house was set up well with anything you may need. My vacation was definitely worth the trip of almost 8 hours. ”
