“Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. “Good communication from host. We stayed at this property while visiting family in the area. It was very comfortable for us. Both bedrooms have comfortable kind beds, one firmer than the other, which was perfect for us. Fenced back yard was handy for our dog to be able to go out. Dames park is just a few minutes away by car (less than 5) and we went there nearly every day to walk our dog. Our only suggestion would maybe be a more comfortable sofa. “Theresa was AMAZING from the start and so accommodating. I was traveling to Purina Farms for a dog show, so this being a dog friendly place to stay was necessary. She had no issues answering my questions and had extra blankets, dog amenities, etc. throughout the house. Theresa was communicative throughout the entire process, and I would definitely stay here if I visit Missouri again.
