“Loved the location. In walking distance and the water taxi if running is just outside the hotel. Unfortunately, when I went the first it wasn’t running, found out it was due to weather 103 degrees. Extreme heat caused a lot of things to shut down. What didn’t work out so well was on arrival when we checked in our room must have had some work being done on it. In the bathroom the drain and grill to the shower was pulled out and laying on the floor next to toilet. There was dust from what probably...

“We've stayed at Ulysses several times over the years. For the first time we experienced a room without central AC. Our room had a small window unit that was not nearly adequate to keep the room cool during the 100º weather. Sleep was difficult. In the future, in the heat of the summer, I may plan to stay elsewhere.”

“Well maintained property. Staff was extremely helpful, kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and decent. The downside was the refrigerator wasn’t working properly, our room was not vacuumed during our 5 day stay and weren’t made aware the option to have a microwave for the stay for an additional $10.”

“The hotel was recently renovated and all facilities are lovely. Expect the exterior to be the same and enjoy its perfect location near the harbor. In general the staff was attentive and welcoming. It is a very busy week, so we must be patient with those that were not. A special complement to housekeeping. Wash cloths like rosettes and tissues like fans!”

“The hotel was located in a ruff area. Lot of broken people outside the lobby entrance. The police came to the Hotell street several times a day. The people in the reception/lobby don’t know anything about Baltimore. The receptionist had to ask the nice old cleaner in the lobby we’re the train station were located. Our hotel room was very dirty. Guests that the hotel were very high on drugs. We pay 320$/night for this crappy Hotel. ”

“Very dirty suite room, hair in shower, cracked sink in bathroom, broken molding in bathroom, broken toilet seat. Very poor service at front desk. This hotel is very out-dated and needs a major renovation, would never recommend this hotel. ”

“Stairs leading to room were falling apart. Shower leaked. Finger nail (I hope) under the bed.😝 Parking challenging. ”

“I had a great time in the Mt. Vernon Inn, the staff was great and helpful with my luggage since there is not elevator but the style of the Inn is so nice and historic,. I really like it and the area which I found out is an historical area of Baltimore.”
