    Let Molokai set a slower pace: a screened-lanai breakfast in the treetops, a walk toward Kepuhi Beach, and a pool dip before dinner from the grill. This one-bedroom, two-bath Paniolo Hale condo sleeps four and gives a family or couple extra room to settle into the west end's quiet rhythm. Open-beam ceilings and hardwood floors warm the ground-level living space, while the upstairs queen bedroom catches a peekaboo ocean view. The full kitchen, sleeper sofa, high-speed internet, and new stacked washer and dryer make longer stays feel practical as well as peaceful. The shared outdoor pool and grills keep the day easy close to home. Maunaloa is a short drive for basic shopping and a bite to eat, while the nearby coastline invites beachcombing, snorkeling, and long sunset walks. This is a sincere Friendly Isle escape for guests who want Hawaii with fewer crowds and more room to breathe.



    The Space:

    Open-beam ceilings and hardwood floors set a warm, treetop tone in this ground-level condo. Downstairs, the screened lanai, full kitchen, full bath, living and dining area, and sleeper sofa create a generous main level. Upstairs, the queen bedroom has a peekaboo ocean view, a private spa-like bath, and a new stacked washer and dryer. The one-bedroom, two-bath layout sleeps four.



    Guest Access:

    Guests at Paniolo Hale in Maunaloa enjoy access to a shared communal pool along with beachfront and beach access right on site. Accessible height beds and toilets, plus grab rails for shower and toilet, support guests with mobility needs. A garden or backyard area rounds out the grounds.



    The Neighborhood:

    Paniolo Hale is on Molokai's quiet west end, near Kepuhi Beach and the wide, uncrowded coastline around Maunaloa. Days here are less about checking off attractions and more about a beach walk, a snorkel when conditions are right, and watching the sun go down over the water. Maunaloa is a short drive for basic shopping and a casual bite. This area suits travelers who value quiet roads, open space, and the chance to experience the Friendly Isle at an unhurried pace.



    Getting Around:

    Maunaloa sits on Molokai's peaceful west end, about 20 to 25 minutes from Molokai Airport in Hoolehua. A rental car is essential here, as this is a quiet, spread out island with few services nearby. Beautiful beaches are a short drive away, and the small town center offers a limited but charming stroll on foot. Parking is easy and uncrowded, fitting the slow, unhurried pace that makes Molokai special.

A beautiful quiet location a bit away from the "city" on Molokai but that is exactly what we were after with this trip. The porch is truly incredible to open up and let the ocean breezes in. The entrance door is a bit tricky until you get the hang of it, but it was exactly what we were looking for. As most people considering it likely already know, Molokai is not for everyone, so if you need entertainment and wide dining options you will be limited. We found a lot to do and places to explore and the experience here more than met our expectations

True Paradise

These accommodations were absolutely stunning! The home was beautifully maintained with modern appliances and fully stocked with everything we needed. We loved the gorgeous views, easy beach access, and the pool was a highlight. We would definitely stay here again—and hope to!

Nice place.

The location being close to the beaches made swimming trips fun and easy. The breezes kept the condo comfortable though the temps were in the mid to upper 80’s.

The townhome is beautiful, clean, well supplied with beach accoutrements and perfectly set-up. And wait till you see the beaches! The local Vacasa support people are terrific (5 stars for them). We had a fabulous time!

Immaculately clean and organized. Not a single thing missing from beach towels to kitchen utensils! I’ve stayed in these condos for years and years, and this was the best one yet!

Wonderful place

The trade winds blowing thru the screened lanai. Birds singing in the lush trees and foliage. Very quiet and relaxing. Add to that a condo that is roomy clean and very Hawaiian .I can’t imagine a nicer place.

Hawaiian hideaway

This hale is lovely! Very clean and beautifully decorated! The kitchen is very well stocked and the baths have plenty of fluffy towels. Surprisingly there was no blow dryer ☹️ I gave a call to Vacasa’s customer support and they brought me a blow dryer in a couple hours. We love renting Vacasa homes😎

Very Clean well sticked

Highly recommend selecting this place. Very comfortable bed and a well stocked kitchen. My suggestion is they need to provide salt pepper, sugar, maybe be some starter spices, tea and starter coffee. The stores in town do not carry small size items. The Maunaloa General store is fairly close if you need to pick up something,

AMAZING - Dare I Say More?

This home is B-E-A-UTIFUL! My fiancé & I had the great pleasure in staying here and we were blown away. Not only is this condo private, it’s shaded (with some lovely morning sun) so it stays very cool and it has great views of the oceanside from the upstairs balcony. Truly a gem and a real joy to stay here. To top it all off, the kitchen is WELL stocked! All of the spices, oils, pots, pans, etc. you need to have a comfortable stay.

I don’t really want to give this place a 5 star because I’d love to have it stay empty for when I return. It’s amazing. No view but plenty of shade and able to keep everything open ti enjoy the breezes. Perfect. Wish their was a coffee press to make things simpler. This place is amazing. Thanks to the owners for providing:)

Lovely, well-equipped condo

We have stayed in several units at Paniolo Hale. Unit B2 is the best that we've tried. It is super clean, nicely decorated and it's positioned high on the hill so it catches the cooling breezes. We had a great week! BTW we strongly suggest that the shower curtain in the upstairs bath be lowered so that it is easier to keep the plastic liner inside the tub. That way you can better avoid water spills on the floor.

Lanai living!

Public comments: Gorgeous living space opens completely to a screened in lanai. Life is good out on the lanai. Kitchen well equipped and easy to cook in. Bed and bedding comfortable. Private to owner: The only downside was that the place had been cleaned but it was a while ago so there were dead bugs and gecko poop on the otherwise spotless white bedspread and pillows. I’m not grossed out by bugs and it is a tropical environment…maybe put the bedspread over the pillows to keep them clean?

Nirvana!!!!

It was mesmerizing!!! We totally agree with the previous review….please take the time to read it. This condo is equipped with EVERYTHING. I could have baked bread if I wanted…can you imagine. You immediately feel at home the minute you walk in. The location of the condo is perfect for privacy. We want to thank Vacasa vacations for their part in making our vacation one to be remembered. And a HUGE thank you to the owners for allowing us to stay in their idyllic home. Counting the days when we can come back. Looking to stay here again!!! Jim & David

Beautifully appointed condo with easy access to beautiful West end beaches. The condo does look out onto a parking lot which is partially hidden by the lush plantings. There is a bright light in the parking lot that’s on throughout the night. The lighting within the condo at night is warm, but not great for reading. We loved the marauding gangs of deer that visited every night. The large, wrap around, screened lanai was a delight and insured cooling breezes. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

We came back for more!

This was our second stay in B2 at Paniolo Hale. It's lovely to wake up in the upstairs bedroom, and see the trees swaying in the wind out the window. With the screens on the windows and doors, they can always be left open and gentle breezes are always going, keeping it cool. The kitchen is beautifully equipped - it has EVERYTHING one might need, to prep any type of meal. The rooms are spacious, and quite comfortable, and we appreciated the simplicity of the furnishings. • Paniolo Hale is a treat to visit. It's an oasis on the dry, wild side of Moloka'i, well designed and classic. Loved the pool, the proximity (a less-than-5-minute walk) to the BEST BEACHES in Hawaii, and soooo much hiking is right out the door, whether along the coastline up to I'lio Point, or overland on game trails. • We've stayed all over Moloka'i, at various condos. This is by far, the most attractive, most comfortable, and the best value of any we have visited. Maholo!

Molokai magic

Molokai is not for every traveller but we love it for its laid back vibe and lack of commercialization even though it's a half hour into the small town for groceries and grog. This is the second unit we've stayed in at this complex and preferred it for its updated furnishings, colourful local art, thoroughly equipped kitchen plus the beach chairs, swim fins and coolers. Due to a recent storm's impact we didn't travel as extensively around the island but did so last time, so we were content with the short walk to the beach, the sight of far-off whales, monk seals sleeping on the beach and afternoon time around the pool. Don't overlook the small balcony off the bedroom that provides views towards the ocean. The main floor lanai is private due to foliage with relaxing wicker furniture. The coffee pot gave up during our stay but luckily there was a French Press in the cupboard we could use before the new replacement arrived a few days later. Property management people were easy and friendly to deal with.
