âThe hotel was beautiful and clean. Very historic. Cool bar and patio with great live music every night. Free breakfast was good. We stayed in the Cycle Suite which was perfect and it had a full sized coffee pot which is so great these days since most places offer a keurig with only two regular coffee k cups. Walking distance to a bunch of other great spots. There is also a shuttle that takes you to numerous wineries all day for $25! â
âThis is a beautiful property and I would highly recommend it. I ate breakfast on the deck each morning, while I overlooked the Missouri river. You can also watch the sunrise as you lie in bed. Itâs simply a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful property. The breakfasts were really great also. Overall, I had a very relaxing wonderful time.â
âSuch a fun stay overall! If breakfast is included, itâs delivered right to your door. They even drop off little bottles of water while you're out, which is a nice touch. Most things are within easy walking distance, and the trolley is just a 5-minute walk away. It can take you pretty much anywhere. Bonus: live music on weekend nights!â

âThe room was small and spotless. Staff wonderful. Liz made our check in experience lovely. Grounds are gorgeous and plenty of conversation spots indoors and outdoors which were way better than a chair in our room. Delicious breakfast too. This was our 36th day on the road so breakfast variety scored points . Mixed fruit baked French toast concoction (apple, strawberry and blueberry) and a fluffy egg and cheese bake that was real egg!â

We had an issue initially with our door code, but the owner took care of it instantly. They send you your room and door code before you get there.
All the amenities you need (coffee in the room, shower gels in pumpers in the shower, clean towels, and vending machines for my morning sodas).
The room we got was 1 queen bed and a smaller room, but plenty of space to rest...
âStone Haus is a beautiful property and a comfortable, cozy place to stay. Linda and Larry are such lovely hosts and their dog Maddie was a fun addition to our stay. The breakfast was delicious! We look forward to staying at Stone Haus again the next time we visit Hermann.â
âItâs a room in a museum. So much cool history. A great location close to everything in Hermann. The host gave us a short tour of the property and offered complimentary drinks. Be warned, the walls are a bit thin to outside noise but a fan helped mitigate itâ
