“The house and property were truly wonderful. We were looking for a secluded and quiet place, where we could be closer to nature, and this was the perfect fit. Sitting on the deck enjoying the quiet with our morning coffee while our dogs explored the yard below was so peaceful. The hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge provided much needed recovery after hiking. We were even able to have our grandchildren visit for a family dinner, some games of cornhole, and finished with the host-provided s’mores...

“We used Applewood Landing as a home base for a few days while we explored nearby Gettysburg. Most attractions we only about a 10-15 minute drive.The home was gorgeous and well appointed. Plenty of towels were provided to enjoy the pool and hot tub and all the light switches were labeled, which was very helpful.Highly recommend”

“This historic railroad house was a great place to stay while in Gettysburg. One thing, since the address is Railroad street, it's true. The train goes by a few times a day, blowing its horn and the track is about 40 yards away from the front porch. Wasn't a bad thing, just forewarning. Working with Chris was great. We really enjoyed our stay.”
