VACKRA timmerstuga inbäddat i en 3 tunnland stor skog på en väg som vi kallade All Wheel Drive, för det är vår egen privata väg. Det här är en stor sandlåda. Vår stuga är luftkonditionerad, har 1 sovrum med en queen size-säng, ett loft med 2 fullstora sängar och promenad ut i källaren har en King och en Queen size-säng och en bäddsoffa. Sektionssoffa som också drar ut för en säng. Köket är fullt utrustat. Jack and Jill badrum. Utedusch, stor eldstad och en gasgrill. En söt veranda och gott om utrymme att parkera sanddynsmaskiner, sten accenter på promenad ut källaren och stenen av stugan är fantastisk. Alla möbler har tema timmerstugan. Du kan vara uppe på en mil och njuta av all action. Stötfångarbilar, go-karts, minigolf, sanddynbåtar, restauranger och mer. Ingången till sanddynerna ligger 2 mil bort. Gå bara på den natursköna vägen runt Silver Lake. Njut av Lake Michigan på sanddynerna eller om du går åt andra hållet från stugan kan du komma till Lake Michigan på några mil där du kan parkera och gå för dagen. Då kan du koppla av i den lugna stugan vid dagens slut. Vi har byggt detta själv och har vidtagit extraordinära åtgärder för att göra detta till en vacker plats att semester. Denna stuga är rökfri och även husdjurfri. Om du vill ha en riktigt avkopplande semester kan du kolla in den här. Snälla inga galna fester eller alkohol .. Vi vill hålla denna plats vacker !!!!

Weekend retreat

We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for our weekend at the sand dunes! The cabin is lovely, clean, and centrally located. The owners even provided firewood for our camp fire at night! It’s 5-stars for sure!

Family Getaway

We had a great time and enjoyed the cabin. The only thing was it was advertised as a 2 bath and there is only 1 bath and an outside shower but we made it work. I would definitely rent this cabin again!

Great location! So close to the Dunes!

What a perfect home with a ideal location to the Dunes. I love the privacy of this house. We had plenty of space to have the kids play outside and enjoy a bonfire. Can't wait to book this house again!

Annual family Silver lake vacay

The cabin is beautiful, inviting and cozy. It was kid friendly. Plenty of space of for dune toys and close to the ORV dune location. My kids loved the outdoor shower and firepit. We created many memories and had a wonderful time.

Beautiful Property

Our second year back and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. Beautiful property that is off the beaten path but close to everything. Cabin has all you need. Adults love the outdoor shower and plenty of space outside to relax. Thank you for allowimg us to stay.

Wonderful stay! We didn't want to leave! Cozy and secluded which was perfect for our family with little kids. We could let the kids run around outside early morning while making breakfast and not worry about waking any neighbors up. We appreciated the stocked house of toilet paper, paper plates, plastic utensils, etc. Everything we needed was there. Even including fans and pack n plays. Only thing we wished was that the door and window downstairs had a curtain or blind. It was slightly more difficult to put babies down for naps but it was doable. House was extremely clean! Thank you for the great stay!

Perfect location

This was the perfect cozy cottage in the woods. Lots of room for our trailers and riding stuff. Relaxing environment for everyone. Only surprises on our part was no tv or washer/dryer. Looking back at posting that was my bad. I assumed these items based on other rentals we have stayed in. But indeed they are not listed. Overall a great stay.

Nice cabin but won’t be returning

Pros: Plenty of places to sleep, clean, well stocked, great location Cons: no wifi or tv (both were not listed on description so my fault not noticing), linens in primary bedroom were stained, biggest issue was when we took a shower the whole cabin would smell like rotten eggs (sulfar) and didn’t feel like we got clean with the water because of the smell. My kids had skin reactions to it. Owners indicated it was from well water but from what I read can be corrected. This is the main reason we wouldn’t return.

Cabin Fun

The cabin was in a great location! It allowed us privacy to enjoy the peace and quiet of the wooded area, but it also allowed us access to the Dunes and lakes within minutes. It was very relaxing.

Hidden Paradise

This cabin is nestled down a wooded lane and is absolutely perfect for your getaway to Silver Lake! We spent our days riding at the dunes and enjoyed our evenings back at the cabin around the firepit. We truly felt like we were in the middle of nowhere and it was perfect! Communication surpassed our expectations. Although it was only 4 adults we had in the cabin, this place is perfect for families with kids! We kept saying how much fun our kids would have had there. Don't hesitate booking this place, it's everything you could need!

Great place to disconnect

The property is nestled in the woods. There is no WIFI and no T.V. so you completely disconnect. I didn't know this when I booked so it was a surprise, especially to the 6 teenagers we had with us. This made it difficult to google restaurants to eat and directions to get around. Once you drive off the property you can find service about a mile down the road. It was a great cabin though. The girls had their space in the loft and the boys in the basement. My husband and myself of course took the bedroom. The cabin is fully stocked with pots, plates, cups ect. waffle iron was a bonus. There is no dishwasher so everyone had to pitch in and wash their own dishes. The sand was a little messy but we knew this before renting, bigger outdoor/indoor mats would be useful. The beds were comfy and the home is clean. Property is beautiful!

Quiet and secluded - great socially distant getaway

This property is very nice and has a lot of sleeping space. Having to bring our own sheets was a bit of a hassle, but at least I knew my sheets were nice and clean during a pandemic. The kids enjoyed the hammock and the porch swings. It was nice to be so close to Silver Lake State park. We brought our boat and used the boat launch there every day. By the way, if your kids are accident prone like mine, the nearest ER is only 16 minutes away and the personnel there are quite experienced in cleaning and stitching up sandy wounds, so that's a plus.

Cabin paradise

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. It was the perfect getaway for our family. We enjoyed the peace and quiet along with all of the nature that came with the house. We would definitely stay here again.
