I stay at Home Inn Express whenever I am in Medicine Hat. It feels like a home away from home! It's clean, comfortable, pet-friendly and in a convenient part of MH. Mostly though - it's the staff. They are extremely kind and very helpful. Look forward to my next visit!

Check in was super easy, and I really like that there is only a $50 deposit rather than $250 like some hotels. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Very clean.

Very friendly and helpful staff, cozy rooms, PS3 system with free game or dvd rental in the room, fridge and microwave in room, lots of plug ins for charging devices, coffee and cookies available all the time fee of charge and extremely reasonable price - will definitely stay again!!

This property is ideal for those just looking for a place to sleep and then get back on the road. Our basic room was very clean with 2 double (not queen) beds which had relatively soft mattresses. Breakfast food was pretty well gone by 8;30 am. The dining area is very limited however the hotel staff allowed people to sit in the lobby area to eat so it all worked out. Restaurants are close by.

There was a minor issue with the bathroom sink, it was plugged so I had to make do. What really troubled me was the addition of a damage deposit to my bill, Ive never encountered this before. I didn't like it one bit. Had I damaged or stolen anything, you already had my credit card number and authorization. Other than that everything was fine.

We implement a 50 incidental fee for every stay to cover potential charges to the room, such as the purchase of a bathrobe, etc. Should there be any damages, this 50 could be applied; however, it's important to note that it might not cover significant damages. Regrettably, we are unable to process additional charges on someone's card without the completion of the necessary paperwork, meaning the 50 serves as a minimal safeguard in case of incidents. It's also worth mentioning that most hotels we are aware of implement some form of deposit policy.

The staff were wonderful and the room was perfect for our stay, the bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast. Our dog also love it. It’s a very welcoming place. And our 9 year old daughter wrote down some review: It’s been nice since I first stepped in, with your cleanness that’s better than the rest of the lot I’ve been to, your pictures show nature in the room, which is my favorite thing/place to be in. I really enjoyed this.

The suite was very classy. I loved the white cabinet doors on the closets and tv area. I dont know what it was but it was like white countertop...very shiny and clean looking. The staff were awesome and the breakfast good. No room for complaints!!

Vanessa at the front desk was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Texted to see if everything was ok and if we needed anything. She came to our room to help us the the DVD player. Nice having movies to pick from for free. Also nice hot breakfast included in the room. We could not believe how well priced the room was. Would highly recommend.

This motel is exceptional because they go the extra mile toward professionalism. We actually left the Elkwater Lodge and demanded our money back from them because of a long list of issues. It was quite refreshing find this establishment which is clearly the opposite in all aspects of accommodation. We will be looking forward to staying in a Home Inn Express again!
