“If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay.”

“We only stayed one night before taking the ferry to Utila. I appreciated that they arranged my airport transfer to the hotel and from the hotel to the ferry. My room was near the water, but you had to walk down the sand to get to it due to construction work. This construction meant there was a lot of noise during our stay, which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The room was quite large and clean. The bathroom was very small and could use some improvements. The food at lunch and dinner was...

“Traducción al inglés: I loved my stay at this hotel. It is very peaceful and perfect for spending a weekend. The views are spectacular, and the food was 20/10. However, the main issue is that the meal schedules are very limited. They should offer snacks throughout the day so that guests who do not want to wake up early for breakfast still have something to eat during the day. Another suggestion would be to expand the variety of activities available within the hotel and offer more tour options...

“We love this dive resort. It’s changed, with a lot of improvements since 2011 when we first went. And we especially love the long time staff.”

“This was a nice boutique hotel in a cozy bay. Traveled with my husband and daughter. Our room felt alittle cramped and would have definitely preferred a larger room. Everything else was great. Water taxis, excursions, restaurants were all within walking distance. The shuttle was great to and from airport. If you want a quiet less commercialized experience would highly recommend.”

“What a wonderful place! As close to paradise as you can get! Casual and comfortable, with no pretension. The tidal pool was perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The food was incredible! The owners, staff and the locals who frequent the place were so warm and welcoming, you come in as strangers and leave as family! Can’t wait to return! ”

“There is construction going on the 3rd floor and I was given a room right next to it. I booked to have a peaceful night stay before my flight in the morning and I was not able to get any rest. The room itself is clean. There was also some guy sleeping in the construction area/hallway which scared me as I was the only one on this floor and I heard movement in the night and saw him. The security talked to him but I’m not sure if he just lives there in the hallway? Didn’t feel safe as a solo woman....

“The morning breakfast was delicious. A good variety and it changed a little each day. It was a short walk to the gorgeous beachfront. Lots of restaurants and the most beautiful sunset ever.”
