Our Stay in Darnley
It was very comfortable and spotless. Everything that you’d need for a four night stay was in the villa. The beds were very comfy and the linen, quilts and pillows were luxurious.

No off street parking
As highlighted in the star rating, the property was clean and comfortable enough. However the accuracy of the online listing was not accurate. It wasn’t until we paid the full amount that the property Manager disclosed to us that there was no off street parking ! We arrived on a Friday evening,tired from travelling and bucketing rain . Nowhere to park except on the roadside ! ! Drenched from the rain and suits on hangers all wet. What was most frustrating was that the unit does have an enclosed garage which was off limits to us. Yet we paid for the whole unit.

Kevin sorry to hear you were disappointed with the parking of the unit. In the description of the property the garage was not mentioned and no photos have been added to assume you had access to garage Unfortunately I can’t help the weather So sorry to hear the inconvenience you had If you reached out to me regarding parking I would have a loud you to use unit 5 carport With check in information I did point out that parking was on the street so I have not given false information at all Moving forward from the parking issue You were a 5 star guest. Expensive
Nice little unit but needs some TLC for the price. No support from owner. No face to face contact just a key in a lock box. Kitchen poorly equipped, no coffee machine, limited dishes/bowls. Nice vacuum cleaner but no mop/bucket. we had to buy storage containers for food. Coat hangers for wardrobes since there was only 4 (sent an email to owner requesting more hangers and response was you will have to go and buy some!) and an ironing board cover. No basic food welcome pack which was disappointing as travelled from UK. No barbecue. Sofa uncomfortable but bed was cosy and comfy. We stayed for 3 weeks but no cleaner unless we paid an extra 70 dollars! So no towels or bed changed, we did it ourselves! Have paid less for better service. But location was perfect for us to visit family in the area. Would recommend for a week but nothing longer. No parking and on occasion had to park some distance on the road as locals also using the road for parking.

Michael I’m sorry to hear that you felt the unit needs TLC looking at the photos everything is perfect Commenting about no support from owner is very disappointing messages was always responded to And I followed up to make sure everything was ok Kitchen is fully equipped because the unit does not have a coffee. Machine does not mean that it is not equipped. The essentials for a stay is definitely there. I’ve had numerous bookings for a month two months or three months, and have never had the negative response you have given me. just going through my reviews I have a very good feedback from 90% of my guests so if you felt that the unit was not to your standard I hope in future you find something that will accommodate you and your family Regarding the cleaning , I can’t understand how you feel. I should be paying for cleans throughout the week. I offered you clean linen and towels to be changed Your response was there’s no need. I hope you enjoy the rest of your travels. Regards Donna Borg

Greathome away from home
Stayed one night. Easy to access and find property, parking was a bit tricky as there where cars out front which didn't move the entire time, but it just meant we had to utilise out the front of the neighbours place. A bit of road noise, quite a busy street, but it simmered down by the time we went to bed. The house itself was just what we needed, 2 rooms, bathroom with seperate toilet, all amenities were there also. Fairly clean, nothing to really complain about! 5 minute drive to a supermarket. All in all, really happy with the accommodation.

Great and convenient

As soon as you walk into this property it has everything that you would at home. It was immaculately clean & tidy. All communication with the owners was quick & easy! And they were very offering with help in regards to the reason for my stay. Would definitely come back again.

I simply cannot fault this property or the host. I booked this property for my daughter and was absolutely thrilled! Donna was extremely efficient in getting back to us with all our queries and really cared that my daughter and son-in-law were comfortable. The house was spotless and the location was excellent.
