- Nearby Works (June to September 2025) CitiPower will be removing equipment from a nearby substation on Lonsdale Street. Expect occasional traffic disruptions on Lonsdale and Spencer Streets, mainly weekends from 9am–3pm. Crews may also be on-site daily from 7am–5pm. No impact to electricity supply or pedestrian access is expected.

Dirty and seen better days

The apartment was in a good location but has clearly seen better days. It wasn’t clean - there were hairs in the wall of the shower, orange mold around the edges and much of the crockery and cutlery was dirty and needed to be washed before using. The cleaner had left us out lots of dishwasher packets for a dishwasher that didn’t work and one one packet of washing powder.

Gillade: Renlighet, incheckning och plats

Lovely apartment, but

This is a five star property, on the 20th floor of a modern high-rise with good elevator service and security. To enter the building you need to pick up the key and fob, a 5 to 10 minute walk away. The apartment is very quiet with the patio door closed. The AC unit is in the living room. The view is mostly of other buildings but none close.The issues are with management which is off-site (off-country?). Contact is through the VRBO site and response is generally prompt. But getting things resolved can take time. Of concern is that the dishwasher was known to not work but still listed. There is no instruction book for appliances. For example, the washer and dryer only work when the bathroom fan is switched on, and we couldn't figure out how to get heat from the AC unit.
