The space

Note about sleeping arrangements:

The property will comfortably host 6 people. However, if you need a spot for two extra people, the sofa in the living room can be easily converted into a double bed, and we can provide an extra layer of mattress and mattress topper for free.

Please note that the third bedroom is the loft on the top level, which overlooks the living room. Blockout curtains have been installed which you can use for your privacy (please see photos).

Hi there,

My name is Jeff! I've lived in Melbourne for 8 years, and I am hoping to share great recommendations during your stay for Melbourne and surrounding regions you could do a day trip out of.

Although I'm a corporate professional, I actually used to work in hospitality, in particular, as a chef in high end restaurants and hotels. This is probably where my passion for excellent guest service stems from, and I would like to use this experience to give you a memorable stay.

Yes, I'm a new host, but certainly not new to the Airbnb or vacation rental space. In fact, I also own two other holiday home properties - one in the world class winery region of Yarra Valley, and the other on the Mornington Peninsula. Location

We were a family group of 8 staying in Melbourne for a family members graduation. The location for all things to explore in Melbourne was excellent. The easy access to trams for getting around was great. Host communication was excellent. Fantastic stay, thank you.

It’s hard to have a city stay for a couple of nights that doesn’t destroy your finances but SOL ticked all the boxes for us. Location 3 separate sleeping spaces Pool & GymExcellent styling Other than some design errors by the developer this is a great space I would definitely recommend.

Great value, convenient location

This was a great value option for 3 friends to stay together - with 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, there was privacy and convenience while still being able to enjoy the comforts of the thoughtfully decorated and well-equipped kitchen/lounge area for socialising. It was great to have the tram literally at the front door for an easy journey into the city. There are several cafes within an easy walk from the apartment, and while we had booked dining in the city I can see that there were also a number of waterside dining choices in the area. Communication with the host, Jeff, was informative and friendly and he had left nothing to chance! Each of us would stay there again.

Best apartment in Melbourne, a rare gem, nothing to fault, you got everything you could ask!

Have immensely enjoyed the place, and I felt like we have been spoilt to the max by the owner. From the welcome gift to the luxury toiletries, beddings and towels...this was not a standard accommodation! Truly special :) It felt like the owner had set up the space with the comfort of the guests in mind, with a lot of extras! I mean, even the personalised welcome book really shows that this property is there to impress! Apartment was quite large relative to the standard, and very clean and well maintained. Location for me was perfect, not in the middle of the CBD craziness but close to it, and you can jump on a free tram right in front of SOL. The beds were very comfortable, felt soft, and the heated pool and views were such a treat. The host (Jeff) was incredibly responsive, and gave us helpful tips on how we can maximise our stay in Melbourne. Overall, the best bed n breakfast I've stayed at, and I've stayed at many! We will be back soon! 11/10!
