“Very cozy cabins in the forest, super friendly staff and great breakfast. The location is a little bit off but not too bad. The only thing on the downside was that it was impossible to keep insects out of the room and there were lots of them.”

“Bokade suoerior rum, såg fint ut på bilderna. Rummet vi fick var ocharmigt och slitet. Klagade och fick då veta att de inte hade det något annat rum tillgängligt. Fick ingen information om det vid incheckning. Det enda som var bra med hotellet var frukosten.”

“Vi bodde här två nätter och det var som att komma hem till vänner. De sista km väg hit är inte att leka med, men så är det ju när man lämnar huvudvägarna i Costa Rica. Väl här får vi vars en stuga som är rymlig och fräsch. Vid restaurangen ligger också en liten pool. Eftersom det är en bit från civilisationen äter vi också middag här. Familjen har en liten men trevlig meny, och vi blir inte besvikna på vare sig mat eller annat. ”

“We loved sunshine sanctuary, very clean and lovley staff. The location is also beautiful with amazing view and the bridge is awesome. 10min walk to the center where you get the restaurants and beaches and then you have a private way down to the waterfall. My girlfriend also did the yoga and she loved it. Its a perfect stay in perfect Montezuma!”

“Hands down one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had in my life. The tiny house was clean, wonderfully decorated. It included snacks and some small gifts that made the stay even more special. The bed and linens were amazingly comfortable. It was wonderful to sit outside in the hot tub or inside by the fire. I can’t recommend this place enough. ”

“ We stayed here for two nights. The receptionst was really helpful, she guided us among all the activities you can do in the area and booked them for us once we had decided what to do. It is a 5-10 minute walk to some pretty good restaurants and the city centre. Location was good. The companies that arranged the acitivities we took part in also offered pick-up at the hotel which was convenient. Depending on the activity it took 10-30 minutes to get to the starting point with the shuttle. ”

“We absolutely LOVED this place! My kids said it’s hands down the best place we’ve ever stayed. The treehouse is magical, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the staff super friendly and helpful, the kitchen perfectly appointed. I couldn’t speak higher of this perfect spot. Even walkable to town (sidewalk the whole way) although a bit far with young kids. And the local store just around the corner had everything we needed. The trail around the property we walked multiple times and all enjoyed....

“The property is 1,5 km from the ferrylanding, mostly uphill. Without a car you need to walk or pay the taxidriver whatever he asks (5000 colon, which seemed to be a ripoff for this distance). The little cabin is on a closed private hillside property with a nice secluded beach. The proximity of bioluminescence tours are its advantage. There are howlermonkeys and iguanas and birds around the house. The little wooden cabin has an openair kitchen and a privet outside bathroom. They provide good...

“I can highly recommend this place! We were being welcomed by the friendly (and very helpful) host and her two sweet dogs and cats. The place was clean and in a nice condition. The location was also nice - within a walking distance from the city centre. They were also very helpful with booking tours (and with transport to the tours) - so if you are interested in that you can easily ask in the reception! The only reason I didnt give it the perfect score was because of some dogs baking right...

“Beautiful spot but very loud at night with animals (rooster, loud dog that nobody tried to quiet for hours so assuming it’s a stray, birds) highly recommend ear plugs. Great stay, comfortable and beautiful spot highly recommend!”
