***EXTENSIVE RENOVATIONS COMPLETED*** New roof, new color, all new paint, light fixtures, new kitchen, all bathrooms remodeled, walkway to dock as well as the dock itself resurfaced, new furniture, floors, window treatments, blinds, ceiling fans and MORE!!!

Magnolia Pointe is a beautiful LAKEFRONT cottage on Lake Santa Fe in Melrose, FL. Lake Santa Fe is a 5,850 acre lake in central Florida that boasts some of the most beautiful lake shoreline Florida has to offer. The lake is a fisherman’s paradise but also the outdoor enthusiast’s dream! Our home is west facing so you will enjoy night after night of picture perfect sunsets framed by Magnolia trees as you look out to the Bald Cypress tree lined waters. You can enjoy the sunsets from the screened in porch as well as enjoy a cocktail while sitting on the boat dock as the sun sets.

Lake Santa Fe is home to an abundant array of wildlife. A fisherman’s paradise with Largmouth Bass, Striped Bass, and Sunshine Bass just off the dock. Birds are also plentiful including Cormorants, Loons and ducks, Anhinga, Owls, Hawks, Osprey and even Bald Eagles. Even an occasional otter has been spotted along the shorelines of Lake Santa Fe.

Magnolia Point is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bath Lakefront “bay-style” cottage with windows to frame your view to the lake. It sleeps 8 people total. Sleeps 6 in beds along with additional accommodations located in the office space for a Murphy Bed to sleep 2. This property is a nature lovers paradise. It is equipped with AC, a full kitchen, ceiling fans in each room and wireless internet.We have games and cards as well as a book exchange to enjoy after a day out on the lake. There is also corn hole for the back yard, a propane gas grill, located on our inviting outdoor patio and golf style folding chairs to reside on the dock. Relax on the porch in the afternoon on our swing bed or one of our rocking chairs and enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful location!


*** There will be no access to our motorized watercraft on property***
***There will be no access to boat lift on private dock.
***Please feel free to bring your own boat. Renters have the ability to tie off boats along the private dock for the day. Not recommended to keep boats tied alongside the boat dock overnight due to weather.

***Magnolia Pointe is located within a quiet neighborhood with very limited parking. As a result no parties, events, or gatherings are permitted on the premises. Please respect the serenity of this property and it’s surrounding area. No exceptions.

Great graduation vacay

Great house on the lake. We had a wonderful time. We only have 2 suggestions. 1. The upstairs bathroom needs a curtain at the window. You can see the person showering. We had to purchase a shower curtain rod and a dark linee.2. I would recommend having a iron.Otherwise it was great

A Serene Lakeside Retreat

Our stay at this beautiful home on Lake Santa Fe was nothing short of perfect. The views from the screened-in porch were absolutely incredible, providing a peaceful backdrop for our mornings and evenings. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet, adding to the overall sense of tranquility. We were especially captivated by the stunning sunsets each night. This is a place we would gladly return to for another relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

What a beautiful paradise

Had an amazing stay and it couldn’t be a more beautiful home. Bunnies, hawks, owls, squirrels, turtles, and fish everywhere. The beautiful Cypress and lapping waves of Lake Sante Fe, I felt like Marjorie Kinan Rawlings watching a deer and dreaming of being on the water as I rocked on the swinging bed on the most beautiful porch watching candy colored sunsets or even enjoying a run in the rain, washed anew in fresh dreams enjoying the area. Refreshing to say the least.

What a wonderful lake house!

The lake house was absolutely perfect for our family. Beds were very comfortable and enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone. Living room space was great! We enjoyed having a lot of seating right in front of the big tv and fireplace. The office behind the tv was an awesome space for my mom to do her makeup in the morning! Loved all of the big windows and blinds to close at night time for privacy. The back porch facing the lake was beautiful and relaxing. We were able to bring our boat and tie up on the dock at the property. Very well stocked kitchen with dishwasher and lots of space. Washer and dryer were great. I will book again for our next Thanksgiving trip! Thank you again to our awesome hosts. They were great and quickly available for anything we needed. Book here!!

House with a view!

Great lakefront property. Pictures are accurate, beautiful house, and many enjoyable sunsets over the lake. The house was clean which is always my top priority. The beds were comfortable. The appliances in the house are excellent. We enjoyed seeing boaters, jet skis and wake boarders on the lake on Saturday. We would stay here again and would recommend to others!

Great place!

Twelve contra dancers from Birmingham , Alabama came to Melrose for contra dance weekend with Wild Asparagus at Dancing Fish venue. It was a wonderful, clean and well appointed house. Hosts even bought a 12 quart stockpot for our shrimp boil. Very responsive hosts.

Spring Break on a Lake

After driving 1200 miles we were delighted to watch the sunset from the dock and listen to the birds and life around us. The home is delightful. There were 4 of us and we enjoyed the porch overlooking the lake and our family time. The owners are excellent... easy to communicate with and answer questions. We brought a boat, which made exploring fun too... the lake is beautiful. The proximity to the Gainesville Airport is excellent... makes travel easy too. This is a quiet peaceful home to regroup after a long winter :)

Exceeded Expectations!

By far the best rental we’ve stayed in the area. The owners are absolute gems to work with, clear communication, responsive and attentive to your needs and expectations. I plan on returning with my family at least once year.

A place to gather, relax, explore

One of our best VRBO experiences. We appreciated the care and thought that went into this property and for providing everything to make our stay enjoyable. The light from all the windows is amazing. We loved gathering in the kitchen to make meals, playing games at the table, hiking and biking in the area, and relaxing on the dock or porch swing. Wouldn’t change a thing.
