“Wow this place was HUGE!!! This is a mansion near downtown. There ere like 8 beds at least, a giant courtyard inside, everything was clean and the host got the property ready in one day after our previous reservation did not give us check in information in time and I had to book somewhere else. They had it ready so quickly and Ms Cruz was so nice when we arrived. Don’t miss on this place. The only downside is there is no AC, but we didn’t get too hot at night. Maybe adding screens for the doors...

“Emilio is a wonderful host!! He was prompt with all communication even before our actual trip. The home is beautiful! It met well beyond our expectations. The kitchen was huge and accommodating for our 8 guests. Each room had its own bathroom which gave everyone privacy. The beds were so comfortable. Bismarck the guard/keeper of the property was so wonderful, helpful and kind! I would most definitely visit this home again when I’m Coata Rica. All of us loved it!!!!”

“The property management is extraordinarily easy to work with. They have an extensive knowledge of the area. We have stayed multiple times and have never been disappointed. Scarlet Macaws and green parrots visit as well as numerous lizards and other birds. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Great place to relax and close to highways if you want to visit San Jose. “My daughter and I flew to Costa Rica for a long weekend to visit my son who is in college in San Jose for the semester. This property was perfect for our little reunion. Plenty of space, beautiful views way up in the hills, and a pool. The owners were very helpful and charming. Liked that the house had a local flavor and not generic like most hotels and many other rentals were. Nice restaurants in town. Was central to our day trips.”

“You should go ahead and request to book this property right now. It's hard to summarize how wonderful it is, but I’ll try.Eduardo and Betty have created a paradise within a paradise. The grounds are beautifully maintained, full of native plants and wildlife—we even saw a sloth in the garden on our last day. The main guest space is a glass enclosure surrounded by lush landscaping; it’s especially peaceful during rainstorms.Eduardo, a Costa Rica native, is incredibly knowledgeable about the area....

“This property is stunning! Photos properly represent the home, which has a prime location, just a 20-minute walk to Atenas. We enjoyed relaxing in the infinity pool, sitting on the expansive balcony while soaking in peaceful views of San Jose. "Bra upplevelse överlag. God frukost. Perfekt innan man ska flyga hem eller anländer till flygplatsen. Gratis shuttle. Enda negativa var att några drycker glas på rummet inte var helt rena och AC lät ganska mycket under tiden den var på. Men den kyler ned snabbt så det räcker att slå på den en stund bara."

"Ett stort hotell med fantastisk utemiljö. Rummen är äldre men rena och välstädade. Poolen ganska kall och begränsade öppettider. Vid incheckningen kl 23 på kvällen fixk vi nycklarna till vår svit. När vi kom in i rummet med våra barn, stod en man i duschen. Det hade blivit något fel.... Vi fick två separate rum istället och dagen efter fick vi byta igen till en svit vi betalt för. Vi erhöll ingen kompensation trots sämre rum och naken man i rummet. Det är omöjligt att gå någonstans, man måste åka taxi/ uber om man vill lämna området. "

"Fint hotell med härligt poolområde. Mycket grönska på liten yta med stor variation i växtligheten. Extra plus för den fina jacuzzin med vattenfallet i. Det fanns alltid lediga solstolar vid poolen men jag vet inte när högsäsongen är här riktigt. Rummet var helt okej. Det var rymligt och tyst (bortsett från ACn där gallret över utblåset skramlade högt emellanåt) med fin utsikt från fönster. Vi var dock inte här för att hänga på rummet så det gjorde inget. Stor härlig frukostbuffe med mycket att välja mellan. Pico de gallo:n var jättebra! Fin utsikt över poolen dessutom. Det som eventuellt kan störa vissa är trafikljud från den stora vägen utanför. Det hörs in till poolen. Svårt att undvika i en storstad dock. Ett förbättringsförslag är att rensa poolen från skräp lite oftare. Det låg ofta blad/insekter och flöt runt samt att det var en del på botten. I övrigt var allt toppen!"
