Leo the owner, is welcoming and very accomodating. He generously gives you tips on activities and restaurants.
The place itself is nice, well decorated. My room was of regular size, with a nice shower. It was very clean and quiet, as it was quite far from the street. AC was working very well, WIFI was good too. You can start your day with a nice coffee made by the owner, and a croissant or some sort of...

âThis place is yet another hidden gem in the beautiful city of Merida! Right on the main gastronomic district street (Calle 47) near Centro and Paseo de Montejo. It was a tranquil and beautiful oasis. Walking distance to all the great restaurants like Oliva Enoteca, 130 Grados, and more! Sorry I don't have names of the staff but all were fantastic!â
âVery nice place. Large rooms, simple but good breakfast, friendly staff and a beautiful patio. We had booked a king size bed but got two separated queen sized beds, so contact the hotel to make sure you get the room you booked. Ask the staff for a tour and they'll tell you the history of the buildings. The Hacienda VIP, which is located next door, has a bit fancier rooms, but we prefered the Hacienda since it felt a bit more homy and a little less quiet (even though it was very quiet too).â
