“Our stay at Casa del Borgo was pleasant. We had good communication w/host as very responsive. We did not realize how remote the air b n b was, but it made for a private cozy getaway. Renata left great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. she even made dinner reservations for us! “Tower home means the rooms are small, and there are four of them with a narrow spiral staircase from one to the next. Understand that going in. The hosts are excellent. They really went the extra mile to help us find the place and get into it late when we had aircraft problems and were very late arriving. Den äldre delen av Monterosso där huset ligger är trevligare och trots det centrala läget (och att järnvägen går 25 m från huset) är det lugnt och skönt. Torget funkar fint som "uteplats" och det är nära till bad (gratisstranden till vänster från huset sett är helt OK) och bra matställen. “We stayed here for three nights (in Oct 23) of our month vacation in Italy. This was one of our favorite stays. The view is stunning, & we enjoyed dinner and drinks from the roof top watching the sun set. This is on the top of the cliff but the walk up was pretty easy, it’s just up a gentle sloping walkway from middle of town. The multiple levels in the apartment were no issue for us…we are 61 & 57. “We had great time!! Saw portofino by water taxi. Hiked cinque Terre - harder than we thought but so worth it. Loved the town of rapallo for dinners. And fireworks were fantastic. Over an hour with view right outside our window. Would definitely come back.”

“The property was a comfortable transition from a regular hotel room. We enjoyed the outdoor patios and used the kitchen for breakfast 2 days and the washing machine several times. The only issue was the third floor stairs after a steady hill climb- for those with mobility issues- this property would be impossible. We hope to return next year. ”
