“Very small room doubblebed only 140 cm wide”

“Some good, some bad... We arrived late in the evening and had a nice welcome. There were some petit fours in our room and it looked very attractive, if very cold. The bed and bed linen was good and the (small) bathroom attractively fitted out. But beneath the surface there are obvious problems. The foyer had a bad damp smell. The heating consists of an air conditioning unit in each room, which was noisy and not particularly effective. The electric towel rail did not heat up. The coldness...

“regarding our family's stay at Kings Head on the night of 21st October 2026. “This was my first stay in DoubleTree Southampton and it’ll be the first on my list of places to stay when I return to the city again. Friendly staff, fantastic rooms, great shower in room, great food and atmosphere and breakfast was top notch. Definitely recommend this hotel.”

“Lovely nature area”

“Was in the extension bit of the hotel and was in need of a refurb. Love the main building, bar, lobby area. Location top notch and comfy nights sleep”

“Fint rum! Förövrigt härlig atmosfär, häftig inredning i lobbyn. ”

“Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely stay again! The rooms were nice and cosy, great food options, quiet location, friendly staff and only a few minutes drive from car parks to walk in the New forest. Highly recommend”
