Spacious home well set-up for a group of 9 to hang out, play board games, and cool down after lots of fun in the sun! The location is amazing...literally steps from a path that takes you straight to the beach, which is clean and gorgeous. Christy is super helpful and responsive, both before and during our stay. There are lots of things for the beach, boogie boards and sand toys and inflatable rafts. We wish there'd been more sun protection as we were flying in from out of town so it was very difficult to bring our own umbrellas/sunshades for the heat wave. But the listing does indicate to bring your own so it's not like it was a surprise! The house had just been cleaned before our visit, but could benefit from a deep clean. Perhaps b/c it was high season it had a lot of usage. We really appreciated being so close to the beach and having a large space to hang out in together. Thanks, Christy for being a friendly and responsive host!

Lovely home right off the beach

The house was nicely decorated, clean and stocked with beach toys and accessories. Literally across the street from beach access and convenient to downtown. Thank you for a fun weekend in Michigan City!

Perfect beach house

This is our third stay in the house, and we’ve had a great experience each time. There is room for extended family to stay together but still have plenty of space. The kids love the basement tv setup and the adults especially enjoy the back porch. Christy is a wonderful host and very responsive to any questions!

Spacious and cozy

Stellar location close to the beach on Lake Michigan. Plenty of space for 6 adults, 5 kids and a dog. Cute decor throughout the house, and the stash of beach toys was helpful. Front room gets the early evening sun and was a favorite hangout spot before we walked to the beach to watch the sunset. Splendid!

Great summer house

We were 3 generations - teens, adults, and grandparents. The house was spacious and fit us all with a nice dining area and outdoor patio. The neighborhood is nice and has easy access to the beach and also the restaurants and amenities in Michigan City. Check-in and check-out was super easy and it was easy to communicate with the owner via the VRBO app. We had no issues.

Heaven on earth

The home is so comfortable, we had 3 generations, and everyone had space to be alone, and space to all be together. We rent a house every year to have family time, THIS house we have rented twice and plan to go back!! it is so clean, comfortable beds, deck is amazing, very well stocked kitchen, very short path to the beautiful beach. So peaceful and lovely!! Christy is an awesome hostess, so helpful and kind!! We made so many beautiful family memories!! Thank you, Christy, for sharing your beautiful home!!!!!

Cute little beach house

Everything from start to finish was great. The property host was very responsive and extremely helpful. The house was cute, clean and as pictured. The beach was just a short walk away. The views were amazing. We went to Dune Billie’s Cafe for breakfast and it was good. It had a great atmosphere, the food was good, and they had live music. This property is a short distance from the zoo and outlet mall. If you’re looking for a great coffee place, check out “Fluid”.

Nice house with a great location

We picked this house due to the walking distance to the beach. The house is older but kept up well and clean. The floors smell like they had just been Polyurethaned so there was a strong smell from that drying. Neighbors were a little concerning as one house across the street looked abandoned. Three mattresses were sitting at the curb next door for trash day. Overall the stay was good and the neighborhood around the house was walkable.

Great spot for a family get-together

The house was a great size for our 3 generation family gathering. Plenty of space for everyone, and lots of different hang-out spaces to be together. It is super close to the beach. We came in the off season and so didn't get to enjoy the big deck, but it looked like a lovely space for relaxing. The host's communication was excellent and very helpful. We'd definitely recommend this place!

Most relaxing Thanksgiving ever!

With 25 years of celebrating Thanksgiving together, this was the most relaxing one yet. Perfect late fall weather made the location on the beach incredible! The house was cozy, comfortable, and fit us just right. We used the fireplace and the deck, the "kids" who are no longer kids at all totally enjoyed the bunk room, we cooked and laughed, played silly games and made plans, and enjoyed time together in beautiful Sheridan Beach.

Bachelor Party Weekend

Stayed here over the weekend for a bachelor party. The property is nice and there was plenty of room for all of us to sleep. There is plenty to do around the city and the lake of course was great! I would stay again.

Family Vacay

What a perfect property... location, deck, multiple living areas and just like the pictures. We are fortunately enough to take our family on a vacation every year and feel blessed that we were able to spend it at Michigan City this year. Life is a Beach

Great family vacation at this lovely home, only a short walk from the beach. There was plenty of room, and a great enclosed deck for little kids to roam. They allowed pets, which let us bring a dog to share the family time. The only downside was the HOT weather! Highly recommend this property and location.

Perfect location

We had our family of 10, 8 adults and our 2 grandchildren along for this trip. The house is very spacious with sitting areas in multiple spots for private time amongst couples if required. The deck was a great hangout spot for everyone. The home had everything we could’ve ask for. Our favorite thing about the house was how close it was to the beach. It’s a short,(5min) walk through a sand dune to get there. If you don’t have small children walking you could get there in 2 min! The owner and myself had open communication and she responded within minutes if I had a question. We really appreciate the hospitality and already looking at dates for next summer!
