"A classic hotel in the middle of midtown. Subway in the corner of the hotel, Penn station across the road. Easy to walk to Times Square in 10 min. Breakfast resturant in the bottom floor. Nice beds. Second time I visited the hotel. Recommend!"

"Got an upgrade during check-in, from Full Pod to a Queen Pod, which was a nice touch. The staff I was talking to was nice as well. The room was great in overall, even though its small size. For a solo traveler it was no problem at all. Not that noisy, neither from the outside nor from the hallway. Good air condition as well. The only downside was the cleanliness when I first entered it. The chair was covered in dust, the table and also the accessories on the table. The floor mat was covered in dirt and dust near the door, but looked okay in the other parts of the room. Also the door itself looked pretty filthy with stains. The bathroom was clean, however. The hotel's location is very good, with walking distance to the subway, Time Square, restaurants, bars and many other things. The area outside felt safe in daytime, but can sometimes feel a bit uncomfortable at night - about 3-400 meter east from the hotel (some kind of construction work of that street) where some strange people are hanging out.
