“It’s a deserted, a haunted place where only drug addicts may feel happy. Rooms are having bad smells, poor quality of furniture. It is not worth to stay. Don’t try it, you will repent. We cancelled our booking upon seeing all these conditions. Go better to the nearby travelogue. ”
“This is an outstanding property in a quiet, picturesque part of Stoke-on-Trent (the village of Barlaston). Morgan at Reception on Tuesday afternoon 15/7/25 was fantastic… very helpful, very pleasant! Dinner was very nice…and the wait staff pleasant and efficient! “The room was beautiful, we were in a room at the top which retained the original features of beams. Clean and fresh.
We needed to keep the fan on all of the time we were in the room so we're glad it wasn't too hot outside.
The simple addition of a hook on the bathroom door would negate the need to put items near the sink, on the toilet while changing. But all in all we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Wheatsheaf.”
