“The warm and welcoming atmosphere amongst the staff made us feel very welcome and we and our dog were very well looked after for the duration of out 4 night stay. Fantastic breakfast, nice cosy smaller rooms for coffe or drinks as well as very good dinner, made us want to stay at the Archangel rather than going out in the evenings ”

“Our stay here was beyond our expectations. Entering the bar to book in the staff were extremely welcoming. Our room was exquisite, bed extremely comfortable the shower was fantastic. Room was spotless. Breakfast was excellent we chose a different breakfast every day. We had our evening meals also food was delicious. Our dog loved the walks . Shopping in Bath we used the park and ride just up the road. This was free as we had bus passes. We will probably return for the Xmas markets.

Apart from not receiving any information about how or where to check-in/find my key before I arrived, the room in itself was cold, smelly and the overall quality was simply poor, with details such as a broken towel heater tube in the bathroom, rugged carpets and the light switches places in very inappropriate spots, a hallway that stank with rips and tears in the walls from previous paintings which made the whole...
