“Run down hotel double charged me at check out and did not respond to my emails asking for a refund. At check out the elderly receptionist was confused and could not see that I already pre-paid via hotels.com. So I was forced to pay 680 euro again. The lady promised to check with hotels.com the same day and email me. Now 3 weeks later, I still got no refund. Or any responds. I called 2 times, and emailed with documentation 3 times, only to get the info that she did not get my emails. But after...

“A truly beautiful house and grounds, typical of the region. Good sized rooms, plenty of showers etc., well equipped mitchen and room for all 12 of us to eat, inside and out. The pool was a really good size and was cleaned half way through the week. The area is enchanting. Vianne is 5 minues away and has all enough local shops for top-up shopping. A very pretty Bastide town, with much historical interest. Main shopping in Lavardac or Nérac, both close. Water fun to be had kayaking on the Baise...

“Somewhat grand house with a lot of character. Nice view of the garden to the hills and river just outside. Spacious room and bathroom. Everything worked well. Ouffa (the host) was gracious and friendly. Easy and pretty walk into the nearby small town.”
