"We had a very good experience. Got upgraded to a room with ocean view and it was fantastic. And the room even had a heating lamp above the sink so it’s warmer when you get out of the shower, smart! Staff were friendly and very fast check in and out! Breakfast was really good and you basically had everything there! There’s a bus stop nearby that takes you to old town in 15 min! "

"Nice location in this charming city. Not far away from the Old Town - 20-25 min walk downhill and uphill when you come back, nice views over the sea and cliffs with vegetation. Comfortable room and bed. Good and variate breakfast with all you need before a long day of adventures. Helpful personnel at the front desk and concierge to guide you with the attractions. You can book trips via the hotel but a bit more expensive than in town. Experienced masseur, not very expensive and nice spa with both jacuzzi and a barrel with cold water at 2 degrees. Both dry and humid sauna. The only minus were some problems with the TV cable connection in my room. I also received a bottle of tasty Croatian red wine Merlot. I would definitely come back. "

"Hotellet hade rena och nyrenoverade rum som kändes både fräscha och bekväma. Frukosten var god med bra service, och restaurangen var också ren och trevlig. Läget var smidigt - det gick enkelt att ta bussen, men det var också en fin promenadväg in till stan. Området kändes säkert, även sent på kvällen. Jag trivdes verkligen och kommer definitivt tilbaka!"

"An excellent 5 star hotel in Dubrovnik, from the exceptional welcoming reception, to the always friendly and service minded staff and of course, amazing luxurious rooms, in our case with a private terasse, beautiful spa and a must mention, the hotel exclusive direct sea access with sun chairs, service and absolute closeness to the Adriatic sea right at the doorstep of the hotel. All and all, a must stay in Dubrovnik, only a few minutes away from the historic Old town and all the buzz it is both calm and serene at Excelsior. We'll be back. Thank you to all the staff for working hard and making it a memorable stay! Few notes: Try out the hotel restaurants, they are fantastic. A room with a terrace is nice but not a must have, try booking in the villa but if you have to choose there are plenty of outdoor space anyway at the hotel facilities. Enjoy the amazing breakfast. Ask for a sun chair at the sea front to experience the ultimate best of the Excelsior experience. The staff are attentive and always ready to help out! "

"Väldigt fint resort med många poolområden och flera restauranger att välja på. Rent, snyggt och grönskande. Det man ska tänka på är att det är väldigt dyrt att äta och dricka där. Finns inga butiker eller restauranger utanför resortet så man har inget val än att äta på plats. "
