Vilket
Vilket hus! Och vilken supervärd Grant är! Vi har tillbringat en vecka med familjen bestående av barn och barnbarn i detta fantastiska hus som har precis allt man kan önska sig. Hela huset är fräscht och välutrustat och det finns ett stort härligt uterum med grill. Och poolen utnyttjades till fullo av stora och små. En stor bonus blev studsmattan och ett game room. Så fort vi har haft frågor både före och under vistelsen har Grant funnits där med goda råd. Och han har svarat superfort hela tiden, vilket har varit mycket uppskattat. Då han dessutom är engelsktalande så blev det inga språkförbistringar. Nu är det dags för oss att åka hem, men vi hoppas på att få komma tillbaka och vi kan varmt rekommendera detta hus. Ni kommer inte bli besvikna!

En otrolig vistelse!
Wow vilken vecka jag och mina 13 vänner fick i Grants fantastiska hus! Grant var så hjälpsam och snabb på att svara på alla våra frågor både innan och under vår. Vi upplevde huset större i verkligheten vilket verkligen var en positiv överraskning ☺️ vi kunde inte haft en bättre vistelse än vad vi fick!

Fantastiskt hus med trevlig hyresvärd
Supermysigt hus med all tänkbar utrustning och lek för alla åldrar. Uppvärmd pool, plats för alla att sitta ute och inne för att äta och umgås. BBQ och KÖK är fullt utrustat. Bra att ha en bil för handla och tas sig till Mijas pueblo eller Fuengirola. Taxi finns lätt tillgängligt och är prisvärt alternativ.

Superfint och bra läge!
Vi var 7 personer som bodde i huset under en vecka i mitten på sept-19. Grant mötte oss vid huset och gick igenom allt praktiskt. Huset var större än vad bilderna visades så det var en trevlig överraskning. Även poolen var större och superfin! Allt var fräscht och tittade man på baksikdan av huset, till höger så hade man berget som utsikt, till vänster en stad. Så fint att se staden lysas upp på kvällen. Huset ligger i ett lugnt område och det enda vi såg var hästar som gick på andra sidan vägen =) Vi fick alternativet att värma upp poolen om vi ville, men det var så varmt att det behövdes inte under vår vistelse. Grant som värd var väldigt enkel att prata med, och var det något vi funderade så kunde vi enkelt kommunicera. Vi frågade om allt möjligt och han var väldigt hjälpsam med allt vi behövde hjälp med. Skulle verkligen rekommendera huset och Grant som värd! Hoppas på att få komma tillbaks!

Great week in a fantastic Villa
We were two families staying here for a week. The villa had evreything that was promised on website and was more then our expectations. The floor plan was realy good for two families and there were always something to do for the kids with pingis, pool table, flipper games etc. The owner of the villa is most friendly and supportive and very responsive to questions both before and after the stay. Brilliant stay
Lime House is a lovely, well-appointed villa that suited our family of 14. The kitchen had everything we needed (filtered water was a bonus) and the gas bbq outside is really easy to use. All the bedrooms are nicely decorated with lots of storage and great air-con. The games room and gym were brilliant additions to our holiday. Grant is a fab host; he always replied within minutes of any enquiries and continued to be helpful during our stay. Would recommend.

Family Holiday
It was a really lovely villa, nice and clean and with so much to do. Absolutely loved the size of the pool with depths suitable for all the family little ones aged 5 had a great time. Had beach and pool towels supplied and all you could ever need for cooking at the the villa, the host was really great with communication any questions were answered quickly, and very helpful re room layouts. We really loved Mijas town and the host gave some amazing recommendations for restaurants which we really enjoyed. The only thing I would say is to make sure you have a hire car, as there are loads of places to go and see but are around a twenty minute ride away and it is quite hilly, other than that we all had a wonderful holiday ❤️

Wonderfull locatiom
Perfect house for three familys with children. Enormes pool and different stairs to bedrooms so space enough for different familys. Great playroom and gym. Near to nice villages as Mijas, Torremolinos, Benamaldena and Marbella. Enormes pool. Every room with airco. Enough shadow outside if needed to eat with table for at least 10 guests. Pool could be heated to 29 degrees for the children. Host reacts immediatly on every question and was very friendly. No wishes left during the stay.

Super fedt
Det er nu anden gang vi lejer dette skønne hus, og vi er stadig fuldt ud tilfredse. Alt fungere godt og værten er meget venlig og hjælpsom. Lækker stor pool, dejlige værelser og mange muligheder for hygge og adspredelse. Eneste minus er nogle meget slidte og ødelagte havemøbler, hvilket resulterede i mange rifter på arme og ben. Og så havde den ene dobbeltseng mange ødelagte lameller hvilket resulterede i at sengen flere gange brasede sammen.

ANOTHER FAMILY HOLIDAY UNDER OUR BELT
Another “milestone birthday” celebration held at Lime House. 4 households each with own needs yet again successfully had a brilliant week. 8 Adults 2 children and an 8-month baby. Thanks to Grant, all went well. Is it really 3 years since last visit. Just felt like we had all arrived home, when we got there. Kitchen still stocked with everything you could possibly need, we all just slipped into our own role that we had last time and it worked a treat. Minor thing we tweaked this time was taking our rubbish out daily, every time someone left the villa, it was extremely hot when we were there, so leaving rubbish out was not an option, and since you have to pass the rubbish collection point on the way to Mijas centre it was no hassle. The pool is still the family favourite, great size for all to be in together playing with inflatables and learning to swim. Grant continues to be a great host, pre arrival and during. Many thanks Grant for sorting the rooms to suit our little ones they had a ball sharing, and parents relaxed. All looking forward to another visit…but! Not wanting to wait for a “milestone birthday”.

Beautiful property and lovely owner
Grant was an absolutely outstanding host and a marvelous guide to Mijas and the surrounding towns. He went so far above and beyond any reasonable expectation, I'm not sure what else we could say except thank you. As far as the home, it is a very quiet spacious place with all the amenities, including a pretty well equipped gourmet kitchen and grill. Family loved the pool and made heavy use of the big covered umbrellas. A few pieces of advice: be very careful of blindly following Google maps on the way back into town as the navigation will sometimes gladly lead you to single lane unpaved mountain roads with steep drop offs (basically: avoid Valasquez whenever possible). To be clear, while the immediate neighborhood does take you through some winding turns, they are over well maintained and safe roads (and the vast majority are NOT a problem once you get used to the 3 way splits and roundabouts, though I would probably try to avoid making the drive the very first time after dark if possible). Once you get your bearings, the town of Mijas is very close by, maybe a 6-7 minute drive, and personally I would not try to walk it given the hills unless you're in *great* shape. Taxis are easy to get, as is food delivery if you need it. Recommend either the large Carrefour or Aldi - both have ample parking. Summary: this is a marvelous property and we would happily stay every visit we made to southern Spain.

13 people, 1 Family, Young kids, Perfect Villa
I have stayed in many Villas, this one suited everything we could of wished for! 13 People, 4 kids aged 4-6, 2 kids 13-17 … The safety of the villa was second to none… the kids couldn’t get to the pool without an adult, they had an alarm system, external locked gates. I enjoy to cook, the kitchen was fully equipped, down to the small detail of a sharp knife to chop! The toys, pool toys, games room, gym gave everything you see from the pictures! The villa is clean, outstanding and I will definitely be visiting again! Grant as a host is one of the best I’ve experienced.. nothing was too much trouble, his recommendations for local food etc was outstanding and to receive a response by text within minutes when asking a question… second to none! If I had one thing to add to consider, if you don’t have a car I would ask a local taxi to drop your bins as it’s a 15 minute up hill walk… is it a negative… NO! The villa is amazing, and I will be visiting again… if they will have us 😊

A great property to stay in. Lots of amenities and in good condition. Mijas Pueblo was only a couple of minutes drive away (we didn’t brave the walk - but probably 30 minutes). Hypermarket a 10 Minute drive. Grant is an excellent/helpful host.

Superb Summer Holiday
Perfect villa entirely as described providing excellent accommodation for two families. The pool is huge as is the BBQ with a perfect area to sit out and relax in the evening. Mijas is a short distance with great restaurants and a relaxed atmosphere. Host was very helpful and welcoming.

Fantastic villa - Wonderful pool and outdoor space - Everything you want for a family holiday
From the moment we arrived at this wonderful villa, where we were met by Grant, we just knew we had made the right choice. A full guided tour of the property was given to us, with everything explained and we were made to feel at home straight away. During the whole of our stay, Grant was extremely helpful and welcoming. The villa itself is just simply magnificent, so clean & so spacious, equipped with everything we needed. We were a party of 12 in total, made up of three families, and it was important to us to follow the old saying of keep the children happy & you'll be happy, so Free Wifi, heated pool to 30 degrees (in December), table tennis, table football, pool table, with plenty of premier league football and films on TV what more could we ask for, the kids (& the big kids) were most certainly kept very happy indeed. A pleasant 25 minute walk up to Mijas Pueblo (even more pleasant back down) was well worth it, beautiful village, full of fantastic restaurants, bars & shops, many with an awesome view down to Fuengirola & the glistening Mediterranean sea in the background. Whilst writing this review, I was trying to think of a downside or a point where something could have improved our stay, the fact is I couldn't think of one & that's the truth, we just loved it. Finally a massive thank you to Grant, this holiday was fantastic, one of our best ever - if anyone is thinking of booking this Villa, just do it, we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Beautiful fully equipped clean villa with more than enough space for two families. The pool was huge and all the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. The villa is as described. Limehouse is in a lovely quiet location. Its too far to walk into the centre but it was easy to get a taxi or Uber from the house. The owner Grant was really helpful and responsive.

EXCELLENT ...Property...Great Owner Customer Service
Well!!! We read, and we read the reviews. And we ALL read about Grant the property owner in every review… So it goes…G.R.A.N.T. Great. Rental. And. No. Trouble.. As a large party of 13 to start with when we booked, to a party of 14 by the time our holiday started, everything we asked Grant for or about was no problem for him. So helpful… Our group was made up of 5 families (Three with children ages 4 – 3 – 9 months and 8 weeks and two couples.) This villa proved you can holiday in a big group while giving us all the individual space we needed, yet let us all come together for family time meals. The pool was the biggest hit with our group lots of space at pool side for all to sit. And having all towels including pool ones provided made packing much easier. My only niggle with the poolside was another sun umbrella would have been helpful for our group make up, young children and baby needing shade meant we had to split up and go up onto middle area for shade. NO WAY is this a criticism it’s our group make up. BBQ was large enough to cope with our party size with room to spare… Kitchen was very well kitted out and the oven can cook 6 pizzas at a time…Brill… Nice living area again plenty of space and lots of games/books/dvds to keep all our age groups busy. We did use the gym and found the equipment very good. Utility has washer and dryer along with a 2nd fridge/freezer which was very helpful. Lastly the bedrooms, again my personal view is website pictures makes the bunk bed rooms look snug…This is NOT the case, they are very very spacious, 2 adults a 3yr old and a cot fit in PERFECTLY. I liked the fact the Master Bedroom had its own balcony and was separate from the others. I feel a car is essential for this property as it’s a long walk to the main road, especially in the heat we got, and no path, also easier if you have a car to take your rubbish to the central collection point. Thank you Grant for all your help/advice, before/during/after our stay. We all enjoyed the holiday, and we wish you continued success with Limehouse

Great villa with an amazing host, great facilities and a very large pool
Great communication with the owner all throughout. No navigation finds this place, so detailed driving directions are needed and appreciated. The villa is very spacious, clean and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed a large pool, which is great for all ages. Everything is in working order and villa is wonderful to relax at. You do need a car to get anywhere, whether Mijas or anywhere else. Thank you, Grant!

We stayed in Limehouse villa for a week, 4 adults and 7 children, we were greeted by grant and shown around the villa...... the villa is widely equipped with everything you need. Kids were never bored with the games room and the massive pool. Mijas village just up the road is very lovely if you fancy a meal out or a 10 minute drive down to Fuengirola where you will also find Lidl and Aldi for your weekly shop. The water park is only a 10-15 drive away also. All in all the villa was beautiful and very comfortable with amazing views, would love to go back. Thanks grant for being so accommodating and helpful!

The house was a great base for two families of 5. We had asked for the pool to be heated and it was warm enough despite being April for everyone to enjoy. The games room was well used by all. Grant was very helpful and contactable during our stay with advice and suggestions of things to do and for local restaurants.

Great family stay
Very adequate facilities for adults and children. Kids and adults ahving great fun in the pool and games room. Add in outdoor table tennis and trampoline and what else do you need. Catering facilities were great and the large fridge with filtered and chilled water was a hit. Lots to do in Mijas Pueblo (bit touristy from lunch time onwards) and on the hills adjacent. Does not get long to get to the beach from here by car.

Superb villa all round!
As with the majority of the other reviews I read about the Limehouse villa and owner Grant; we can totally agree that this is a perfect villa in a great location and Grant will do everything he can to accomodate you. The villa is perfectly serviced and very comfortable, we had three couples and three babies between 8 months and 18 months. Everyone had plenty of space and Grant went out of his way to get extra cots and high chairs for us. The villa is in a great spot, although we would definitely recommend hiring a car. We decided not to do this and the walk up to Mijas is around 30 minutes uphill, which was quite tiring. The local taxi company can arrange child seats on request but this can take a long time as only certain taxis have the seats. Mijas is worth the trip up to and there are plenty of bars and restuarants to choose from. As per everyone's comment on here I can only reiterate how great Grant was to deal with. He make you feel really welcome and was really helpful as soon as we booked the villa.

The villa is fantastic, Grant has thought of everything a family might need!
We’ve just spent two glorious weeks at Limehouse. A family group of 13 with ages ranging from 70 to 7. There’s enough space to sit as a group and also enough variety of spaces to escape the teenagers. Grant was on hand whenever we needed him. The only downside ( which we easily overcame) is the trek out of the urbanisation. You do need a car. We tended to drive up to Mijas Pueblo and either not drink or leave the car parked in the municipal car park (1€ for 24hrs) walk back down (approx 30 with a tired 7 yo) and send one of the fitter members back up in the morning. The town itself is stunning a there is plenty to see. The local buses are great. We took a trip from Fuengriola to Marbella for less than 4€ each way. We also headed inland and can recommend cliff jumping into the river at Barannco Blanco for the more adventurous and able bodied. The beaches are in easy reach with most have free car parking. Having said all that we spent quite a few of our days just relaxing by the fantastic swimming pool and having inter generational pool competitions in the games room. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous villa in a beautiful setting, we had the most amazing holiday!
We are so glad we stayed here for our first holiday with extended family. From the moment of booking Grant, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and helpful and when we arrived, wow! The villa is amazing! Its beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped with everything you could ever need. The pool is a great size for lounging on lilos and pool games with everyone, even managed a few lengths on our more energetic days. Grant was always at the end of the phone if needed and helped us with restaurant and taxi numbers etc and supermarkets are only a few minutes drive away. To be honest we only ventured out a few times as the villa catered for everything we were looking for on our 'chill out family catch up holiday'. We would definitely recommend this villa and would go again tomorrow if we could!

Just recently stopped in this villa , highly recommend stopping here. Grant was extremely accommodating. Very steep walk to mijas town , took my partner and I around 40 minutes so not for the faint hearted ! That said the local taxis were amazing and arrived around 5 mins after you contacted them.

Lovely modern villa. Great pool. Definitely recommend.
Three families stayed at the Limehouse Villa with children of differing ages. There was plenty of room for us to relax both inside and out and the Villa also had a lovely large pool area where we spent the majority of our stay. There was also a games room for the children so there was plenty of things for them to do. It was lovely to sit out on the balcony during the evenings and we also ventured into Mijas village on an evening. Mijas is a gorgeous town with lots of character. Grant the owner was very helpful and onhand to help with any queries we had. He recommended a lovely restaurant in Mijas called the Secret Garden which was beautiful and the food very good. The villa was clean and modern with plenty of space for eleven people. We did hire a car which did come in very helpful for food shopping. There were local supermarkets but also an Aldi and Lidl which you could access with a car. Overall we had an amazing time. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Fantastic week
Had a fantastic week at Limehouse Villa. The house is great with all the facilities you could wish for and also loads of toys for the kids to play with. We were a family group of 6 adults and 2 small children and there was plenty of room for everyone. We spent a lot of time in and around the pool which was excellent, cooked a lot of meals and used the bbq too. Eating on the terrace is great. The men became obsessed with beating each other on the retro pinball machine (!) and we also played some table tennis. Grant could not have been more helpful and friendly and answered messages immediately with advice when asked. You need to drive to go anywhere but we thought that we could have just used taxis which were efficient and cheap rather than bothering with the rental cars which are always expensive. We visited Mijas which is lovely with lots of places to eat (Oscar's Tapas is very good) and a park on top of the hill with amazing views over the region. Also went to the beach and shops at Fuengerola which was a bit manic and the waterpark near Torremolinos which was excellent but probably packed in high season. There were many more places we could have visited but the family were happy in the pool a lot of the time!

Amazing villa perfect for large group
Amazing villa perfect for large group with great activities like table tennis and gym onsite which kept everyone busy. Villa was very clean and pool a good size, car recommended but you can walk to Mijas up a steep hill which takes half and hour each way. Very good communication from Grant helping you book the perfect holiday

Excellent villa with everything you need for a great holiday!
We had an excellent stay in Grant's villa from 20th-27th May. The villa had everything we needed and more! The pool is massive and we enjoyed it every day, as it was so hot. The games room, ping-pong table, trampoline and gym were also big hits. The bbq is massive and great for late evening meals. The property is very modern and all rooms were very comfortable and all had air conditioning. Grant was very helpful with giving advice on trips and tried to help us get tickets to Alhambra, which was greatly appreciated. He was also very helpful if we ever had queries about the property. Mijas is a wonderful place and a 20-30 minute walk away and well worth it! We visited numerous times during the week. We had a great time at the villa and couldn't recommend it more and hope to return!

Great Holiday
Our family of six adults and five children enjoyed a great stay. Plenty for the children to do and enjoy. Large villa in very good condition with big swimming pool. The villa has every amenity to make a comfortable stay, highly recommended.

Big Villa Big Pool Big Family
Ideal. Spacious. Clean. Solid. Plenty to do inside and out. The owner, Grant, is exceptional. Knowing that he was not far away gave that extra confidence if we needed to ask anything (we didn't). I will try to augment what has already been said in previous reviews. Top spec kitchen and furnishings. Comfortable beds. Bunks bigger than expected. Plenty of room for food and drinks in the fridges. Lovely wine glasses. Loads of books and plenty of games if too hot or raining. Similar properties nearby yet fairly private and all built on a slope so steep windy road back up to the village (well worth a visit but we wimped out of walking it) and several steps from the front entrance to the house and pool. So take care if you use a walking aid or have enjoyed the Spanish wine! Views from the back are of the sea in the distance and a small track on the other side of a gap in houses which we could watch our children setting off to play football nearby (they discovered a field) and horse riders and a few people from time to time. It was very quiet (October) and hardly any traffic. We were a mixed family and friends ranging in age from 12 to 58. Plenty of room for 14 people (there were 13 of us - three couples, two sisters and brother, two cousin brothers and one male and one female teenager) and we had to consider sleeping arrangements carefully (boys/girls/teenagers) because of the rooms and beds. The en suite shower was dramatic - we nicknamed it Niagra. Children voted the Pool number 1 and the Pinball Machine No 2. Good internet connection which was able to support multiple users with apparent ease. Definitely would recommend.

Villa and, especially the pool, were brilliant. They were both huge and the villa is rather swish which does not necessarily come across as well on the photos. We had a fab week lazing around the pool and then moving up to the terrace to have lunch. A day at the beach and mooch around Mijas. Mijas was a short taxi ride away (or a 20 - 25 minute walk up hills!) and was a pretty little town. We'd recommend the Secret Garden for dinner. We headed to the beach on our last night and to a restaurant called Casa Rustica (recommended by Grant) and it was the perfect meal to finish off the week. Whilst we didn't hire a car and relied on taxis/walked to get around, I'd suggest the hire of a car for supermarket shops and rubbish bin stops. All in all, exactly what we were looking for! Thanks to Grant, the owner!

We were delighted with this fantastically well appointed and presented holiday home. The owner clearly has a pride and passion for this home and the area, which comes through in the quality of the accommodation and the friendly and unobtrusive welcome. Set in a quiet location and with ample space for large families friends, you will settle in to this home from home very quickly. Room for everyone to hang out together or have their own space, due to the split levels, great pool, fantastic outdoor eating space with gas barbecue. Inside, a large lounge area with Sky TV and sound system with games room with pool table and pinball machines, a favourite with the big kids! Up to the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with the home gym. Not forgetting the trampoline in the front courtyard. All in all an immaculate home that has a 5 star hotel finish. Set in a perfect location for exploring the hills and quiet more traditional towns of the area or equally close to the beach, the home can be your perfect hub for a holiday of adventure or a restful break away from it all. I would recommend this home highly to lovers of the region. We enjoyed the road cycling and off road cycling in the hills above Mijas as well as trips to Benalmedina for restaurants and the beach. Favourite places to visit for my 3yr old daughter were the Aquarium, the Crocodile Park and.....the trampoline at the home! Enjoy! We did and hope to again in the future.
