“We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was the perfect up north experience. The location was great for going to Oscoda or Tawas. We enjoyed sunrise on the lake and also evening fires in the fire pit. The communication from the owner was timely and also very helpful. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything needed to cook our meals at the cabin.”

“Every time we are at Barefoot Beach we instantly relax. It is actually hard to leave! Great facilities, beautiful beach, we have fun sitting by the bonfire. Well worth staying there!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very peaceful and quiet. Very unique and pleasant surroundings, being right on the creek. We enjoyed hearing the creek at night as we slept, and drinking morning coffee over looking the trout pond. The place is very clean and easy to stay at. The owner is friendly and helpful. Feeding the fish is pretty fun! There are many beautiful places near here to visit and enjoy. We will definitely come back if we are in the area. ”

“We came up for a quick weekend getaway. Location is good, just outside of East Tawas and not far from oscoda. There’s a washer and dryer which is great for drying out your bathing suits/towels. Plenty of towels on hand, and they have a well stocked kitchen; bowls, cups, pots/pans, etc. The Keurig coffee pot was a plus. Each bedroom has a TV, and the beds are comfortable. The house is decorated nicely, and has a kalimba. ”

“Just what we were looking for, very secluded and lots of wildlife. It's nice to get away from the hustle of everything and just relax. First night we arrived, we checked in just after a rain storm and saw a perfect rainbow over the house. Just beautiful. ”

“Everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a short drive to Tawas or Oscoda which was perfect for we had things going in both towns. ”

“Very cute place, nicely decorated. Very clean except couch was sandy so was the bed. We stayed in #9. The porch is unsafe. Very small you can step off the side or front on either side of steps, if you are not careful. You cannot see the lake from #9. You can walk out down a small sidewalk, onto the sand, then down to the lake. Very peaceful by the water. #9 is close to the main road US23. With the door open and screen closed. The traffic was loud. If I stay again I will ask for front place...
