Ryokans i Mikawa

“The birthday dinner was great in every way and the Japanese breakfast was even better! We enjoyed the stay. The only minus point was that we couldn't have coffee at the breakfast. Is it too much to ask Shojitei to provide coffee even it's a Japanese hotel?”

“We stayed in a "japanese style" room with tatami mats, and it was wonderful. The room was spacious and comfortable and might have been the best sleep we had during our whole trip! The host was very friendly and gave us lots of good tips of what to check out ad where to eat around Ise. The bath was small but lovely, both of us were alone during our visits to it, and since it was so small Tattoos were not a problem! Would definitely stay here again if we visit the area!”

“So this is likely the best ryokan in the Nagoya area. few complaints though, even though we called twice (day before and when leaving nagoya same day) to confirm the pickup, they FORGOT US! that's just plain bad, although at least they admitted over the phone they simply forgot and came swiftly after that. however first impression was not so great. there is one convenience store if you go right when exiting the hotel, although its about 15 minutes walk away. the bath albeit not an onsen, (no...

“Upon our arrival, an employee greeted us and helped with luggage. The public area was elegant and displayed so many beautiful artwork and antiques. Being at the top of a hill and by the ocean/bay, the view was gorgeous especially during cherry blossom season.
