“This was a cute house in a nice neighborhood. We were able to walk a block to the water (just to see it). The town is drivable and so quaint. Please note that while the house had wifi and we were able to use the wifi for Voice over internet for our phone, our phone had no coverage (Verizon) it kept trying to connect to international, and we noticed that the part of the actual lake was right near the border of Canada. At night, we could hear the border control helicopters, which didn't bother...

“Great location! Grocery was close by, the town of Vermilion is a jewel! There's so much to do! The neighborhood was quiet and very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed plus! The host provided great communication before during and at the end of our stay! They let us know they were available if we needed anything! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for a quiet get away. My friend and I were there 5 days to write and it was perfect! You must enjoy a sunset while...

“We were in town for a baseball tournament at Sports Force Park and this was a perfect location. This house was perfect for what we needed. I do want to point out the listing said there was a double pull out sofa. Unless it was user error, the couch is not a pullout couch but the accent chair folds out to a bed but definitely not a double size bed. It was not something I would be able to sleep comfortably on no matter the size. My husband wasn’t with me so I ended up sharing one of the other...

“It was great! The listing on VRBO did not tell much of anything about it though. Had I known we were going to be right on the lake we'd have brought chairs and beach towels. It doesn't say anything about that or that it is a campground like setting. But we loved that it was quiet and secluded. The room was clean. The lock on the door is very hard to operate. The bathroom faucet is stiff and you feel like you're going to break it when adjusting temps but it works fine.”
