“Our room was excellent very quiet with lovely comfortable bed, nice bed linen, towels and plenty of tea&coffee etc. Breakfast was delicious. We ate evening meals at the hotel which were homemade and great quality and reasonable price. New owners have taken over hotel just over 2 mths ago and we found them to be very friendly, welcoming and hard working. They're improving the hotel with new decor and have great attention to detail so I'm sure once finished it will be amazing. It's location is...

“We were sitting on the bench outside of our room and the lady who worked in the ticket collection place, driving a blue svu, almost parked her car on top of our laps. The staff should be more considerate.”

“Location was good and grounds are spacious to sit out and wander about on a dry day. Building and room in need of some TLC. My room had a burnt iron mark on floor, telephone had no line, staff said they were updating lines. Kettle leaked when it boiled. Side table lamp didn’t work. “Property appears to have been recently made over, everything is new and fresh, extremely clean and although on the small side the rooms are perfect for overnight stays, comfortable bed and with more than enough tea/coffee supplies unlike a lot of places. The continental breakfast was excellent quality and plentiful. We could not fault the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall excellent value for money and we will definitely go back”
