“This is an excellent home and host!!! Could not be more satisfied with the reservation and the response from the host. Could not ask for any better! “We loved the Stoney Brook Cottage. The listing was completely accurate. The home was nice, easy to get to and convenient to so many things. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“It was a ok place to stay. We were hiking most of the time. The shower was small with water running on to the floor. The biggest issue we had was the location. The entrance into the house is a junk yard house, the owner has a truck that is parked blocking the entrance partially . Making it close for our truck to pull up the driveway. The positive is that there is a fenced yard for our dogs to come in and out. The concept of the container home is cute. A couple with pets it works ”

“How this property ever got numerous 10 stars is beyond my comprehension; very obviously fake reviews. The shower floor was nasty. There was what appeared to be black mold under kitchen sink. Floors were uneven and sinking in spots. Roof covered with tarp. Walls were particle board and mismatched pieces of scrap wood. Overall, we had to question the integrity of the home. Owner did not sent check- in info on day of until we called an hour after check-in time. Left shortly after seeing the place....

“Spent Easter 2026 weekend here!! Awesome Good Friday service at Biltmore Church in Arden!! Fabulous food, beer, coffee and donuts at these nearby downtown spots: Baker’s Box, Trailside Brewing, White Duck Taco, Hendough and Umi!! Enjoyed listening to the rain and song birds from the front porch Easter morning!! Thank you for sharing your place Eric!!”

“The house was really clean and easy to get comfortable during our visit. The trees in the backyard were cut down so the view from the back patio was different from the listing. Overall, it is a great property and convenient to the airport and a good base for day trips around Asheville.”
