“This home is stunning! Beautiful inside and out. Two kayaks were provided and the lake(s) goes on forever. The floating mat is great. It was so quiet and peaceful and I just can't say enough about how beautiful it is. It faces northwest and so the sunsets were gorgeous with Mt. Katahdin in the distance! Absolutely fantastic! ”

“Stunningly beautiful views! Well-maintained and spotlessly clean cottage. Kitchen has everything you need, and there are 2 fridges (one mini in the kitchen, one full with freezer in basement.) Weather was hot a few days during our stay, and the window AC unit in the living room kept the whole cottage cool. The upstairs loft is very cute and cozy but is only accessible via a set of stairs that’s really more like a ladder. Both beds were extremely comfy! Enough parking for 3 cars, which worked...

“We had a great time at Leon and Elaine's cabin. The cabin itself is well set up and we had all the essentials we needed for sleeping, cooking, and bathing. The outside space is great, we had a fire almost every night and paddled as far as we dared on the large lake which is easily accessible from multiple points on the property. “Eagles, Mergansers and Loons oh my! This property was exquisite. If we didn’t live so far away it would be our forever vacation stay. We tried hard to find something the cottage was missing but that turned out to be impossible. We spent countless hours on the dock, on the porch and just sitting in the yard. The lake is beautiful. As the sun sets to the right, the moon is rising to the left. Best of both worlds. Our heartfelt thanks to the owners for sharing their piece of heaven on earth. ”

“Perfect, quiet weekend away for my husband and I! The front porch was where we spent all our time. Very clean, anything we needed was available, and Kim was very communicative in making sure we were all set. As with many Maine camps, very steep stairs to the upstairs sleeping area but it’s well lit. Neighbors are very close but everyone was nice and welcoming. We rented a boat for the day from Merrill’s Marina half a mile away and explored the lake that way. We would definitely stay again!”
