“Jag, min dotter och mina barnbarn fick tyvärr ett rum med en air conditioner som inte fungerade, 32 grader varmt ute och 29 grader på rummet. Tjatade till oss ett nytt rum och där var hårbalsam flaskan tom vilket upptäcktes när vi kom från den lilla poolen. Fick dock säga till två gånger innan det kom en ny till dörren. Ena hissen var sönder. Frukosten var ok med trevlig personal. Sängarna var helt ok.

“Convenient for parking but general state of property was poor. In need of some updating. Carpets were grubby everywhere and our room was very hot though they did provide a fan. Unfortunately we were bitten by mosquitoes in the room.
The bar was only opened for limited hours. We did not eat in the restaurant though a fellow guest said to us his experience was not good. Poor quality food and bad service.”
“Had a wonderful stay at The Retreat. Really relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous facilities and comfortable room. Only slight criticism was enough sun loungers by the outdoor pool, could definitely fit some more in so that people don’t have to sit on the grass. There was no one out there to ask for help, and it felt like there was no one really in charge. Same with the restaurant, it felt understaffed and so service was a bit lacking at times. But the staff who did serve us were very friendly....
“We had a fantastic time , Jenny is a prefect host. We arrived in the afternoon, used they pool and garden, then the next day she allowed us to use the pool again after check out time. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cosy. It was a very hot day/night, she provided a fan and we managed to stay cool. Turns out she comes from my home town, so we had a lot to chat about. We just needed some peace and quiet to relax after a difficult week. Thank you Jenny for a wonderful stay.”
