“This was our 3rd time staying at The Darling Cabin. The location is close to town, yet you enjoy the peacefulness of a cabin on the lake. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Bethany responds to your questions promptly. Check in and check out were a breeze. I highly recommend staying here. “We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and ready for us to settle in. There were plenty of bath towels, hand soap, dish soap, etc. The beds were comfortable and there were good amenities. Kitchen was well stocked. I'd recommend adding a cheese grater and measuring spoons though. :) There is a loft with 4 beds and a couple of couches. Great place for kids to hang. We loved the enclosed porch that faced the lake. Thanks! We'll be back!”

“The lake view was perfect. We could see occasional boaters (speed, pontoon, canoe) but motors never intruded. We were visited daily by a large pelican slowly paddling by and a group of Canadian geese (4 adults, 5 goslings) on the shoreline, and a black squirrel. The cabin was furnished with many added features (TV, grilling and fire pit items, kitchen supplies, comfy beds and towels).My friend and I were celebrating her retirement and we wanted a quiet retreat to relax by the water, read, play...

“Cowdry cabin and Hut worked perfectly for two couples getting away.The cabin to water proximity is perfect and flat.Plenty of and varied outdoor chairs to choose from and the lake is the show.
