3 BR Family home between MKE airport and Lake Michigan

As my family embarks on the adventure of youth ministry to the hurting youth in the Arctic Circle, may you enjoy our home near the banks of Lake Michigan. The house is conveniently located in a peaceful neighborhood less than ten minutes from Milwaukee International Airport, five minutes from Lake Michigan and fifteen minutes from downtown Milwaukee.

Unassuming from the outside, this home has been the outlet of my creativity on the inside. With an appreciation for the beauty God created in nature, this house has natural stone, live edge wood slabs, and decor accents we have collected in the various countries God has taken us. This home is perfect for a family of all sizes with a built in play house, generous entertainment space with a large projector, a large kitchen, and foosball and ping pong to keep you busy. Heat

When we arrived it was very cold outside and the heat was not on in the house. It was 49 degrees. Once we turned the heat on we checked the upstairs to find only two heat vents, one blocked by the trundle bed and the other blocked by the crib. We could not locate the vent in the master bedroom. The owner did refund $50 but we choice to stay elsewhere

Great for Family Stay

Visiting family in Cudahy with a Bucks game in Milwaukee. Great location for both. The crib was a plus and the home was spacious and clean. Would return.

Perfect gathering spot

House is large, comfy and a great place for large groups to gather. The projector was awesome to watch movies and dinning area perfect for puzzles and games. It was very relaxing in this beautiful home, and we had a great time visiting with family. Will definately book again!

Comfortable Home with Lots of Amenities

Home is situated on a corner lot in a nice neighborhood with easy access to airport, downtown area and American Family stadium. The kitchen is lovely and well stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet neighborhood, lovely house!

Loved our stay here! The only downside to the whole house was that the stairs were a little steep but the whole place was well put together, very clean and the kids area was so charming! 100% would stay here again and bring my little kids too!

Well situated location

The home was very close (within 15-20 mins) to all of the Milwaukee attractions were were interested in. The home, overall, is cute, and could sleep a number of people if needed (we were a group of 4). Our main complaint/concern is that the home, somehow, is quite damp and musty. To the extent the family all had sniffles and sneezes from allergies. And the upstairs was quite warm if you didn’t have the window AC going full blast and all the doors left open. We enjoyed our stay though, over all.

Great location for family getaway!

This house is in a quiet neighborhood and kept up very well. We enjoyed the easy access to all the things we wanted to do. I would highly recommend to anybody and will keep in mind if we ever go back to Milwaukee again.

Perfect Accommodations for Summerfest Weekend!

Jonathan's home is well cared for and very very comfortable and welcoming. Home is well stocked; linens immaculate; bathrooms and kitchen tidy and clean. Good neighborhood. Communicating with owner Jonathan a pleasure. Best of all - the home is a short drive away from downtown Milwaukee (and Summerfest grounds/Marinas), about fifteen minutes drive, straight shot. We hope to return next year for Summerfest and hopefully this Home Away property will be available.

Very welcoming home. Felt like we were at the cabin for the weekend.

I rent houses frequently so this review is based on my general experience of this house compared to others. First thing is this is a "home" it is not a rental. So the vibe is completely different. Everything is updated but not show stopping since its lived in and and not a spotless rental. But by no means is it dirty or anything! Just not a flipped house thats all updated and fancy knowing its a money maker/hotel. For the life of us - we couldnt figure out the theater system. That was a bummer. Better explanation of set up is needed for us non-techy people. Im not sure if we missed something? But for the love of god was it hot upstairs. We tried everything with the air. Luckily it got cool at night (start of june) So we could open windows. But during the day - it was hot! The porch off master was amazing!!! We used it all the time. Neighborhood was a bit lower income but never did I feel scared. It is right next to an industrial area. So, there is no walking to gas stations for food. But, it is only a quick drive. Shopping, food and stores are all under 15 mins from the house. We went to the lake and hiked the beach. Went into Milwaukee and that was gorgeous. Lots of walking and site seeing. We went to a show at the River Center. Parking was a breeze. The master bed was comfy. Carpet was soooo soft!! Everything was clean and well put together. Outside of home and yard are a bit rough looking. B+ rating. We would stay again!
