“We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing long weekend vacation at this beautiful (and well provisioned) cabin on the river. The majority of our time was spent drinking coffee on the back porch watching the river (on Sat there were a lot of kayakers). It was easy to get to town when we wanted to. In the evening we would watch the deer in the front yard (way off to the side by the edge of the woods). There was also an owl hunting that was pretty cool to see. “We came for a long weekend. The home is beautiful and practically brand new. It was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Really quiet location and close to the river. Only aout 15 minutes to Blue Ridge. Plenty of dishes, silverware and cookware. Loved the hot tub! We'd stay here again for sure! One suggestion for the owners...put a tv in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms.”
