  • Beautiful secluded Lake Front Home on the Private (warm) side of Lake Anna. 7 bedroom 4.5 bath home is located on over 2 acres - so peaceful. Water Views from almost every room in the house! House has everything you and your extended family and friends could want - LOTS of activities inside and out! Inside -Bumper Pool Table, Ping Pong, Air Hockey, Media Room w/ 75in smart TV, Foosball, board games and puzzles! Outside - Private dock and sand beach, WE are locate at the end of an inlet for ultimate privacy - excellent fishing and kayaking! 7 kayaks, 4 Stand up Paddle Boards, Peddle Boat, hammocks, Playground w/ swings, slide and sandbox, Fire pit, Gas BBQ and Camp grill (charcoal). Over 20 life jackets from infant to 3XL! Community pool and boat launch only 2 blocks away. NEW Deluxe Memory foam Mattresses and black out curtains for a great night sleep! Porta crib, bassinet and high chair provided. Outside shower with HOT water for those sandy feet and washing off your furry friends.

There were plenty of rooms for our group of 6 adults and 6 kids. The beds were comfortable, and the large dining room table was a special treat to accommodate all of us for meals. We enjoyed taking the paddle boat and kayaks out on the lake and the kids swing set and sand box were a big plus. Loved the community pool and nearby public beach area.

Host was non responsive to any emails. Property has security cameras outside, however the cameras were not disclosed on the listing as is required by vrbo policy. Front stairs had wood rot. Wood rot was also evident on the upper deck in front of primary bedroom door. Due to lake level the private dock was useless. The private beach is a misrepresentation. It is a small sand sitting area next to a stagnant stream. The gutters over the covered porch leak excessively. Half of the outlets in the kitchen did not work. Trash cans were partially full at our arrival. Cans are left on the driveway and are easily knocked over by wildlife (Bears). The rug in the main family room has curled edges creating a severe trip hazard to guests.

Great couple’s getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our annual couple’s getaway. The location was perfect and the house was beautiful. The house was very clean and comfortable. It felt like a home away from home. The house included everything we needed to relax and disconnect. The host responded when needed and was very welcoming.

Great Place to Get Away

The property was beautiful and private. Perfect for kids 8-15 to safely play in the lake and not have to worry about passing boats. Also, plenty to do in the house for the kids if it's raining.The house was clean, had enough room for 17 people to sread out, and check in process was easy.

Family vacation

This house is absolutely amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. We absolutely loved our trip and could not have asked for a better home. The host was extremely patient with all of my questions and extremely responsive. Thank you for making it so amazing. This house is sooooo much larger and better than anyone could expect. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Spread out & enjoy!

Our group of 11 old fogies had so much fun at Karlene's place. We had ample beds and baths, and multiple living spaces meant nobody felt cramped. Great amenities! We ate in the large dining room or outside at picnic tables, whiwas lovely . was loWe made.the most of k

Awesome stay!!!!

Overall, this place was amazing! Few hiccups that we felt could be better (such as not having enough Toilet paper, paper towels, etc). The stove malfunctioned at times. Beyond that we had an absolute amazing time. Very relaxing with kayaks, paddle boats, hammocks, fishing, sandbox and playset, campfire, etc). We recommend this place to everyone!!!

Lake Anna

This house and property were exactly what our extended family needed. The property was wonderful - plenty of room for playing outside, a small beach, a fishing dock, and many kayaks and paddle boards. The layout of the house allowed the early birds and night owls to do their things without disturbing any others. The neighborhood was bikable and the community pool was quite nice.

Great place for a group

This is a nice property and well suited for a large group. It had everything we needed. Just keep in mind that the water access is not great from the yard because the lake is low but you can kayak or paddle board from the property, launch a boat from the neighborhood ramp, or go to the neighborhood beach area. The owners were very responsive and helpful!

Wonderful Christmas time

Our family of 15 with all the grandkids had plenty of space to play inside - and on the nice days to be outside on the play equipment and jogging/walking through the neighborhood. Wonderful time, with a kitchen big enough for our large crowd, and rooms for small gatherings - and for all of us. Owner answered questions right away. Everything was wonderful. We even had a spare bedroom, for wrapping Christmas presents.

Family Weekend

Our family had a wonderful time relaxing with nice nice views and quiet cove. Spacious house with large dining table for family dinners, and family room/kitchen combo. Plenty of activities indoors and outdoors including kayaks, swing set, horseshoes and firepit. We had a 3 hour power outage and the grandkids were still having a blast. Owner is very responsive to all inquiries.

Our Christmas Getaway

The house was nice and very spacious. It had activities for all ages. Everything that you needed was there. It was clean. My family loved the board games and the beds. Over all I’m pretty sure we will be back again. S. Cunningham
