“The cabin was exactly as advertised. A beautiful, secluded location perfect for a getaway. The house was very clean with all of the basic amenities provided. The host provided detailed information and instructions that got us to the property with no problems and knowing exactly what to expect. Additionally, Brian was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had for the weekend. Highly recommend this property. ”

“I have previously stayed at this location when it was operated as a bed and breakfast, this time it is only a lodging spot with complimentary drinks which was conveyed in the listing. The home is lovely and easily located in Orange, with quick access to many historical areas. While the Fenton is listed as having a bathroom, which it does, it is a tiny water closet at best. There is no standard size mirror or sink, the shower is also quite small. Overall, our stay was fine, but I did not like the...

“So grateful to have a pet friendly property so close to UVA!”

“Owner was slow to answer emails (often 2-3 days) and often required multiple emails from request to rent, questions, and even while we were there. There were very minimal amenities (only 4 dining chairs for 5 BR house, very minimal cookware, only 5 towel sets for rental with 8 people.) Towel bar and toilet paper holder in upstairs hall bath fell off wall with normal use. Shoes were left in front coat closet upon our arrival.”

“The ad is a bit misleading. There are zero working televisions in the property. There is one live seat so seating space is limited. I would recommend the host investing in some furniture and smart TV’s. The house was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. I would not recommend for a family for the reasons above. ”
