“I stayed in the Brule River room in the carriage house. Just so people know, it’s on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Private bath with shower, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, tv. Air conditioning & a fireplace. Very nice room and neighborhood, with parking in back. Very clean and comfortable. Good communication about check-in. This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed there in that room and would do again.”

“The room was perfect for all of us (4 travelers). It was easy walking distance to town. I would stay again.”

“We have stayed here several times while visiting my son and his family. It has always been spotlessly clean and meets our needs perfectly. It is close to downtown Excelsior and restaurants and bars there. We will return whenever we visit our son”

“We liked it was close to everything but for two people staying, there should have been washcloths for both days and there were not. Coffee was just enough for one day and the sugar and creamer was old. Someone’s hair band hanging in the shower so was it even cleaned? Was told carpets had to be scrubbed due to some spots. Carpet was wet. Other than that, was a cute place. Couldn’t sit outside as there was only 1 chair.”
