The host did a great job providing information in a timely way. We had to book a week prior to arriving because our prior reservation cancelled. Everyone did a great job getting us set up. Once we arrived at the house the weather had become colder so we asked for additional blankets. They were delivered later that day. Awesome service!

Great vacation for this family of 11. Host was very responsive and quick to answer my question about a TV issue. Views to die for and sunrise and sunsets were fantasticWithin walking distance to Pompano Joe’s and Whales take restaurant and literally across the street from Alvan’s island which was great for the kids to shop as well as adults Very relaxing vacation

PERFECT LOCATION & FABULOUS HOUSE. That is the overall feeling of our stay. Access information was messaged to us before our arrival. The code to the door worked perfectly the first time so it was easy getting in to the house. And, bonus points that the air conditioning was set at a cool temperature on our arrival. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware & room for items we purchased in the large cabinet pantry. I found it odd there we no kitchen towels provided, but we just brought our own. We had a group of 8 adults stay with room for everyone & would love to book it again. With that said, there were a few items that I feel could use some attention. As a vacation home owner I hated to see the common wear and tear on this beautiful house. But, there are large nicks on doors, stains on white furniture and on outdoor cushions. The elevator would not work for us which we didn't need but it would have been nice to use for sending luggage and groceries. When I contacted the manager about it, it was suggested that we use a long screwdriver to move a lever on each floor. We didn't NEED it, so we didn't try that. A big thing that should be addressed is the living room rug that has been used and is permanently folded causing a trip hazard. We lifted furniture to straighten it out, but it still has a fold in it that will not come out. Its been that way for a while (photo below) The TVs in the two 3rd floor bedrooms did not work. Minor things for such a great house.

Great Accommodations & Location

Great property with all of the amenities needed for a fantastic beach week. Personal splash pool was loved by the family with the ability to warm it being a great added feature. Kitchen is very well stocked with all the cookware, tableware, and appliances needed to cook and serve large groups. Patios are roomy to be able to hang out on at night. Would stay here again in the future.

Relaxing

It was a wonderful place to stay. I (Grandma) had 2 of my 3 children with me and 6 grandchildren and spouses. The kitchen area was great and the bunk room was perfect for the kids! So nice to have c hairs and umbrellas set up right in front of our house on the beach, every morning! The splash pool was terrific, also!

Beautiful Vacation Home Overlooking the Ocean!

This 3 story townhouse is a beautiful and clean home with nicely arranged decor that made it very comfortable for us 4 senior couples celebrating our Anniversaries. The kitchen is fully equipped with serving platters, casserole containers and pots & pans of many sizes, which made our own private Super Bowl party dinner a big success! The in house elevator made it so easy for us older ones bringing in our luggage. Although the weather didn't allow us to use the heated pool, we still enjoyed looking at the beautiful roaring ocean from the comfort of inside. While there's plenty more positive things I could say, I would highly recommend this jewel of a place for your visit to Destin.

No communication with management at all. Even left a text the day we came in. Pool sure looks beautiful on website but no good instructions on where to turn on the heater! Very disappointing!! Otherwise it was a very nice unit in a great location!!

A Must!!!

Our family loves staying in the Miramar/Frangista Beach area - this home did not disappoint! Our family of 12 (ages 1 to 62) had plenty of room to enjoy ourselves and 'do our own thing'. Stairs from the back of the unit lead to 'toes in sand!' This is a private beach; no overcrowding, loud music, smoking, etc. (beach flags are in close range). All families had plenty of linens, with a washer and dryer included. The elevator is a life-saver for bringing in luggage (have stayed in some where did not work, so this was awesome!). Plenty of kitchen space for groceries, refrigeration, freezing, ice feature works! Across the street is Alvin's Island, which our teens hit frequently by walking over. Outlet shopping and dining are at either ends of the street. We felt safe and secure for the duration of our stay. Communication with the owner was terrific; we had a couple of requests which were promptly addressed to our satisfaction. The bottom floor of this unit is ideal for young parents with little ones. We would recommend this vacation home for large families who like to come together to experience the beach, dining, and shopping. Beautifully decorated, plenty of kitchen appliances (including 2 Keurigs!); all tv's were enjoyed, as well as a video game system. The only negative is we had to leave!

Whale Rested, family trip

Chris M., our host, was amazing with answering questions and taking care of a minor issue very promptly. With this property being on the beach and having a private elevator for us, it made for a perfect home for us. It was perfect for those with physical challenges in our family to enjoy the sights and the sound if unable to go down to the water. We would definitely stay again. Thank you Chris for being an excellent host.
