“Loved the property even though it looked very different to the original pictures look quite different to the ones shown when we booked the trip. Loved the SPA and the property was very clean and tidy and the main bed was great. Only negative was that we are used to cooking with Gas so the slowness of the electric oven and cook top was a little frustrating at first. Would definitely stay there again”

“This is lovely and spacious home right on the lake. Plenty of room and a kitchen fully stocked. Rob, our gracious, helpful and ever-available host, even provided milk and butter for us. Perfect base from which to explore the greater Rotorua area. Truly Serenity on the Lake. ”

“Very quiet and peaceful stay”

“We had a lovely family holiday at Lake Tarawera over Easter. The days were warm but the mornings and evenings a bit chilly, so the fire was very welcome to have. The house was very well appointed and there were plenty of activities on site like air hockey, table tennis and foosball. As well as being close to the lake for walks around the edge and not too far from the mountain bike park. Would definitely recommend”

“We enjoyed our stay in this property once the check in issues were sorted out. Book-a-bach dropped the ball with check-in which took over 2hrs and was not complete until the next morning. Having said that, all the issues we encountered were not the fault of the house, so as long as Book-a-Bach sorts these, then I would highly recommend this home. It is a good size, even with just 2 bedrooms, we had 4 adults and 4 kids (sleeping in the lounge on the couches) and it didn't feel too small, AMAZING...

“Awesome property, thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Only thing I would change is the bed and pillows, as both myself and my partner woke up stiff and sore every morning that we stayed. I ended up having to use my oodie as a pillow. Otherwise this little cottage is an awesome stay and would highly reccomend! Thank you! ”
