âIf you want to make a small journey towards Etna, i suggest you stay at this B & B. It is located in a small nice village where you can enjoy a good Sicilian dinner in accomplishment with nice locally produced wine. The tips provided from the B & B are really nice. The rooms are nice and clean, and our beds where good. The five stars come from the really price worthy stay that we had, one of my best during forty years of traveling.â
âThe northern slopes of Etna are lush and green. I came by the Circum-Etnae train, a trip that I can really recommend. Rosa is a lovely host who made me an amazing vegetarian breakfast and even invited me on a family-trip to nearby Taormina. Where else will you find a host that awaits the departure of your bus to wave goodbye from her balcony? Room nice and cose, the guests have access to their own kitchen and a private roof terrace.
When in Sicily it's really nice with a bit of cool mountain...

And the proprietress was lovely. We went to a wine tasting first at Gambino Winery 7 minutes away which I highly recommend. This was the perfect location for that. We left in the morning for Taormina which was an easy 35 minute drive. we are a family of Americans figuring it out as we go. This part of our trip went very easily...

"Very nice hotel just a few minutes walk from Taormina's main street Corso Umberto. We booked a room with a balcony and had a fantastic sea view. About a 10 minutes walk to the cable car that goes down to the beach Lido Di Mazzaro."
"Ett fantastiskt hotell pÄ en fantastisk plats. Vi ville knappt gÄ frÄn vÄr balkong med den underbara utsikten över Etna. Personalen Àr familjÀra och mycket trevliga och poolomrÄdet har skön stÀmning, en fin pool och trevlig bar. Fem minuters promenad till byn med vackra vyer. Bra restaurang i anslutning till hotell med god mat och fin service. Bra och stor frukost men hade vi fÄtt önska nÄgot vore det lite bÀttre lunch. "
