Magical Stay at Masseria Profilo!
Our stay at Masseria Profilo was incredible. The villa is absolutely gorgeous, with traditional Apuglia charm. The property is like a dream with a long table shaded under grape vines, an impressive tree lined walk to the private (HUGE) pool, a hammock between ancient olive trees, and countless other beautiful things that makes this property so special.
We had a group of 13 adults, including 2 couples. We all had a comfortable place to sleep, with enough linens, pillows, etc. The property is spacious enough that it didn’t feel crowded at all! We all were able to gather around the same table for family dinner and really enjoy the space.
We added on a cooked dinner with Emanuella which was such a treat! It was a fun way to kick off the trip and experience authentic Apuglia cuisine. We also enjoyed the surrounding area, visiting Monopoli and Polignano a Mare. We also went to a local Cozzana restaurant/B&B for dinner called Agriturismo II Castagnaro which was delicious and very reasonably priced. Your trip will be a lot easier if you rent a car. We also ordered taxis which the host and Emanuella helped coordinate.
Nathalie was the best host I’ve ever had. She provided so much information before the trip that we found invaluable. She also was very responsive and available to answer any questions. So thoughtful and welcoming! Also, follow the Instagram account for more beautiful photos and videos of the area. Her love of the property and pride of the region really shows and is a gift to her guests!
I cannot recommend this property enough for your stay in Puglia. We never wanted to leave!
