VRBO did the right thing and refunded us but this host left us with a bad taste in our mouths and we will be careful about booking at any of his properties again.”

“--The house and facilities was excellent; in very well-kept condition. Amenities were excellent. --The view was awesome, especially during the fall foliage season. --Driving was quite a challenge as it was a rocky dirt road. Car needed a really good wash after our stay. --Using the bathroom sink was a challenge as the cabinet was directly over it so it didn't give much room to lean over without bumping our heads. ”

“The house was a construction zone and had no driveway- construction debris and ladders in the yard. No walkways or patio just uneven dirt to the doors. Would not recommend for elderly or anyone with the walking difficulties. Before checkout, we left to get a coffee we came back to the house keepers already in the house (we still had almost an hour until checkout) and we clearly had our belongings on the deck still. I outreached to the rental company and they lied saying the cleaners never...
