“Third time's a charm! Actually, each time has been charming. We enjoyed our stay...the cozy cottage and comfort of home. The convenient location adds to the list of positives. Will stay there again!”

“Our host was a pleasure our suite was lovely”

“Very clean, comfortable and cozy stay with tons of amenities, I would stay here again.”

“We enjoyed our stay and loved the location close to downtown to take in the July 4 festivities. The kitchen was well stocked for the eat-in meals we prepared. Unfortunately, It was extremely hot and the mini split units really struggled to keep up but the host was extremely responsive and worked hard to alleviate the problem and had a fan sent to the home.”

“Excellent property, excellent location, excellent communication,. Will book again when I return to Lynchburg!”

“Welcoming place to stay. That was a wonderful experience my family had. ”

“Very clean, seamless check-in. We had an issue and the host representative was very communicative in a reassuring way. Great for railfans. We would recommend for anyone with an interest in trains, American industry, or Blue Ridge outdoor life.”

“I will check all new booking on VRBO to determine if it is managed by OneFineB&B and will specifically not rent from them. I only spoke with autobots and computers. It was a terrible experience from the start. I finally recieved a call from a live person after threatening to cancel and spoke with someone from Europe. Terrible experience.”

“This home was warm and welcoming. We arrived for my daughter’s graduation and they had a decoration in the living room and cookies with a note on the table. It was a charming home with plenty of room for the ten of us. When we encountered some water issues they were quick to respond and fix the issue. The host was always friendly and helpful! It was quite pricey for four days but was definitely a good experience. Great location to Liberty University and easy to get to.”

“Totally misleading advertisement! No where did it say communal bathroom. Dilapidated property, dirty communal bathroom, did not feel safe. Left immediately and demanded refund. Shocked that VRBO would list this dump!”

“Property was very family friendly and spacious. The parking was fine but more than 4 cars would be difficult. We found the beds very comfortable and the decor was we ll done.”

“The Retreat at Candler’s Mountain is exactly as represented on the website. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The area is very near everything you’d need in Lynchburg, but feels secluded and is extremely peaceful. The hosts anticipated all the information we would need regarding the rental, including advising us of an internet outage before we were even aware it was out.I highly recommend this property if you are visiting Liberty University and the Lynchburg area.”
