âStannade en natt i vĂ€ntan pĂ„ flyget hem till Sverige. Trevlig personal, vi fick möjlighet att checka ut 2 timmar senare vilket vi verkligen uppskattade. Parkering ingĂ„r, ca 1 timme med bil till LAX (inklusive trafik).
Rena och frĂ€scha rum. Pool & bubbel-pool finns. Restauranger och ett stort köpcentrum finns alldeles runt hörnet.â
âNice pools (warm and cool) outside. Very close and easy to get to the Honda Center for a hockey game (the reason for our visit) as well as a nice mexican place nearby. Not too exciting breakfast but they did cook pancakes on demand which was nice. Lower score for environmental friendliness since we were given plastic cutlery at breakfast. Hotel is a bit run-down but clean. â

âThe property looks old outside but it is nice and clean inside. We stayed in a two queen beds with a mini bar, very high ceiling and the room is huge. The hotel is by the busy freeway and a small golf course but the insulation is excellent. We canât hear the noise at all. Thanks for free breakfast. The staff at the front desk to the kitchen are very friendly. It will make the hotel a level up if they could update the carpet. We will come to stay again. â

"Ett boende som fungerar utmÀrkt för en natt mellan tvÄ flygresor. SÄ nÀra terminalen att vi promenerade till hotellet, medan vi tog shutteln tillbaka. Shutteln gick sÄ ofta att det bara var att kliva pÄ direkt efter utcheckning.
BekvÀma sÀngar och stort nog för tvÄ personer. Hade man varit fyra hade det kÀnts trÄngt. Rent och bekvÀma sÀngar. En underlig skjutdörr till badrummet som kÀnsliga personer möjligen kan kÀnna sig obekvÀma med.
Restaurangen var okej med trevlig personal. Lite vÀl stora portioner, i synnerhet nÀr det Àr omöjligt att ta med sig rester. Kan tycka att det var lite dyrt. Motsvarande drygt tusen kronor för en pasta, en burgare, ett glas vin och ett glas vatten. "

"Very comfy beds. I stay here or the Marriott down the street regularly when visiting LA for business. Great views from top floor. Easy access to LAX and surrounding areas. Rental car required to get around. Restaurant food is not recommended and they could clean the rooms better. Quiet and comfy is what I like, plus easy parking for 40 per night."
"Really nice hotel but canât really see why anyone would like to stay in this part of LA unless your doing business in downtown or have friends to visit there like I had. Downtown LA is not a place to be for tourists if you want to see the best of LA. I felt completely safe though on hotel premises, in my single room I had a safe for my valuables and during day time it is of course safe to walk around on the streets nearby but of course keep out/away from the Skid Row area with all the tents. The homeless people are nice and I never felt threatened but look ahead where you are going on the streets and donât look down into your phone.
Single room with a skyview at almost the top but a 13 floor building wonât give so much skyview at all in downtown LA.
Some reviewers here have praised the shower, I looked into my shower and thought thatâs just a regular shower head but OMG that water pressure was superb!
So I am still recommending this hotel for anyone having a purpose to visit downtown LA (not just random touristing of LA) or a romantic getaway where you want to stay in and old fashioned hotel, enjoy the rooftop bar and going by taxi to a restaurant at the evening when it is dark outside (avoid walking when it is dark!).
The tiles in the bathrooms of my single room was really beautiful and the bed just perfect.
So this hotel canât do much about its surroundings but the historic elevators could get some more love by hotel management.
