“We had an AMAZING stay at Monte Luna. Our host was amazing. She let us check in early and was so helpful. The host Arelys was the best host ever. She helped us book our tours and they even picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel. 11/10 experience. Would gladly stay here again! ”

“We thought the couple who had the place were lovely. However, to be honest, the place was a bit of a dump. Not the cleanest, lots of unfashioned projects, and some distance to the main town. Still, for 1 or 2 nights, it was OK”

“Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Flowers, birds, howler monkeys, etc…can be enjoyed throughout the property. The massage hut, on site, was outstanding!!! Many restaurants and activities within walking distance.”

“Do yourself a favor and rent this property! The house is absolutely adorable and inspired us to start looking for our dream Costa Rican house. Michael, the caretaker, met us at no one is how are you gonna get in? check-in and the owners ensured we were happy with our stay. Everything was thought out and you had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and we had many early bird visitors that were a treat to watch. The house is near Essence Arenal...

“La experiencia ha sido terrible, me confirmaron mi reserva y me hicieron el cobro y antes de llegar me dijeron que no tenía ninguna reserva, que el hotel estaba totalmente lleno, fue una cosa terrible porque luego de un mes no me han devuelto mi dinero, No recomiendo este lugar para nada.”

“Very clean and comfortable house surrounded by the forest. Kitchen is fully equipped. The dirt path towards the house needs work otherwise your car could get stuck. definitely need a 4 wheeler vehicle. We saw monkeys and toucans in the morning. Very calm and quiet stay it was. “Tenía parking cerrado y estaba genial No me gustó, que nos cambiaron la ubicación del establecimiento, estaba muy sucio, la ducha echaba agua oscura, instalaciones viejas, sin conexión a internet (que cogimos el hotel con wifi... )”

“The Casita was just as advertised. Small but didn't feel small. We were nervous about the size before moving in but it felt the right size and we didn't feel crowded or closed in. It had everything that we needed and expected. The view was great and the location was fine. We had a car so getting to groceries etc. was not a problem. Barbara and Lawrence were great hosts. We really enjoyed Lawrence's band practices. All in all a great stay.”
