“We wished we had stayed longer. This is a wonderful property, well maintained and the owners are close by. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and offers a full view of the volcano covered deck area and a small pool to cool off in. Beds are comfortable and the house offers everything you could need. La Fortuna is a hidden gem. I have been to CR over 40 times and never made it here. Great restaurants and activities and a wonderful place to relax when the day is over. Highly recomended.”

“This house is amazing!! We were a group of 14 and had more than enough space. The view from the house is absolutely beautiful, we saw toucans, parrots and hummingbirds from the balcony. Patrick, the host, took care of literally everything for us. Transportation, excursions, recommendations, reservations….all taken care of. They made a delicious breakfast every morning and we had them make dinner for us two of the nights and it was fantastic. Highly recommend!!”

“We stayed here from 5/17/24 - 5/22/24. We were 8 adults total. The house is very nice. It was very warm when we first arrived. Only the bedrooms are air conditioned. We found out quickly if you open the bedroom doors it helps to cool the rest of the house. The house was well equipped with kitchen items and we were able to cook a few meals. “This is a pretty little spot close to downtown, attractions, and with a view of the volcano. Birds, were singing and active. Two lizards and a row of leaf cutter ants greated us each day. Pool was a great way to end our days. We had a couple criticisms to share. Two rooms had an outside light that shown through the shear curtains. Sitting room could use a love seat. We felt cramped during a long rain storm watching a movie. We had a great time and would definitely reccomend.”

“We had a group of 10 people traveling to La Fortuna in late April. This property is the absolute best of both worlds. The house has one master suite with a spacious bath on the top floor with views of the Arenal volcano on a clear day. The second floor has three bedrooms with a shared bath. The main floor is spacious and opens up to an outside porch which is perfect for sitting and enjoying the monkeys, toucans and butterflies. “We certainly enjoyed our stay! We had quite a bit of mis-communication with the host as well as no hot water for the first day we were there (propane tank had run out). The tiny ants all over the kitchen are probably par for the course in such a climate - I would have like a can of bug spray available. Nevertheless, the property worked out very well for us and our 6 adult "kids".”

“We went for my wife's 40th birthday with multiple families with kids. It was a perfect venue and stay that was closer to the Liberia airport vs Fortuna. We had Tucans on the property, parrots, and plenty of beautiful birds. There is enough distance from each of the villas that gave you some privacy, but close enough to also feel together easily.
